I was at Legion Field in Bo Jackson's hey day and I remember a game where the sun had set, and it was raining, and then the sky turned even blacker and there were tornado warnings in the 3rd quarter. We were sitting in a waterfall coming off of the upper deck. Not a single fan left, but Bo Jackson and Auburn's defense were too much that day. So many great memories of this game. This one will probably not be that memorable for us Auburn fans but until the game is over there is still a spark of hope. In the bigger picture Chizik and co. have taken the shambles of a team left by Tuberville and put it on the right track. Beating a team like Alabama this year would be icing on the cake but not anything I'll be betting on. I still say Florida is the best team with overall the better athletes and coach in the SEC.

Some of these Auburn whack jobs remind me of UGA fans. Do ya'll beat yo women after you loose too? Local hospitals in south Ga. have been busy on Saturday nights this Fall. Sales of Bud have been canceled in some South Ga Towns due to the problem.

Augirl-"I’ll be “chomping” at the bit when Florida shows you how it’s done during SEC Championship game."

One thing is for sure. If its an SEC Championship game the Barn wont be doing it.

I really do miss ole' Len. He was a UGA alum, but he might well have picked the Dawgs to lose Saturday. Picking Bama to lose Friday, however, would have caused his little smart pill machine to melt down.

Enjoy the holiday weekend sports fans!

Sore - Loser! You're the loser. Why would Longhorn post about his team when the article is about the Iron Bowl. You're the one obsessed with him. War Eagle!

pachyderm - and no - the old football prognosticator didn't have a clue what a spell check was - got paid to run my mouth - remember! That was Percy's job to look it up - and maybe type it out! TYPE - not WORD PROCESS - you were lucky if I ever came out in the light of day - much less wrote it down!
The Underwood lettermakers come into Athens to do battle with Leonard's left right combination of X's and O's and C's and H's and Y's - it has the feel of a classic - but in the end the lettermakers win out - Leonard's Loser - LEONARDS TYPING SKILLS!

hey hairlip housel, we still look down our noses at you. you aubies shouldn't worry about the final score. you've already won.

before the ball is kicked, before the first play's run, when auburn's players walk on the field with the crimson tide, THAT make you winners.
