It's a crying shame that the officials stole the game from Auburn. I guess Richt whined enough that they let him win one.

What a joke the UGA team is.

Tony,

You missed a bunch. You got your Dawgs about right, but you underestimated GT and you missed totally on USC, Tennessee, and FSU....

I enjoyed the games yesterday. There was some good football played. I just have this one complaint to get off my chest...

Why, oh why can't the networks hire some announcers that just announce the damn game and leave the editorializing to the goofy bobble-heads on the cable news networks? These doofuses actually think that we sports fans are tuning in to hear them wax eloquent upon the esoteric trivia of the collegiate football 'lifestyle'. Uhhh, NO... I don't care how much ESPN and CBS can afford to over-pay you windbags -- you ARE NOT the "stars of the show".

The kids down on the field playing the game are the reason that we tune in -- so how about restraining yourself to commenting on what's happening down there on the field of play and keep your opinions about the coaches, the officials, the fans and the local restaurants to yourselves? I don't really give a flying flock what you think. I just want to watch the dadgum game, and with every passing year you Bozos up there in the booth make it harder and harder to enjoy doing that.

If you guys want to be TV Stars, then get yourselves a gig on a "Reality TV" show. I'd like to hear the crowd noise and the sounds of the stadium in sync with the video while I watch a game, and I don't mind some insightful commentary along with that. But lately, I find myself having to turn the sound off just to get some relief.

Just stick to the facts and leave your opinions out of it. Please? Is that too much to ask? If there is a questionable play called or a close call on a flag, just say that you find that particular call questionable and let it go at that. I don't care to hear which play you would have called if YOU were coaching. I don't need to hear you challenge the referees. They're down on the field with the REAL stars of the show and you're way up in the booth looking at the same video that WE'RE looking at. Opinions are like a$$holes -- everybody's got one.

And college football announcers these days are like opinions...
