Bama beat LSU. Missing four “wide open” TD passes in addition to the very adequate beat-down of a much improved LSU team only proves the fact that Alabama is, indeed, a championship caliber team.

Florida and Alabama are the two best teams in the nation. Whichever team plays in Pasadena will defeat any team with which they are matched. It is highly unlikely that their opponent in the NC game could beat LSU.

While I admit SEC refs have made a number of bad calls this year, I dont buy into the conspiracy theories that claim the SEC is determined to have another natl championship by determining ref calls. To all the Bama fans who say that they would have blown out LSU if not for McElroy missing four wide open receivers, I want to remind you that QB play is a big part of winning games and championships. If your QB cant hit a wide open receiver four times in one game, maybe Bama is just not Championship material.

This Bama team may be their best in 40 years! No way florida beats this team with that offense they have. Bama should beat Texas pretty easy for title #13, but I wouldn’t lay a lot of points, since Texas has a good offense. I’ve already got reservations for LA in January to see that 13th title!!!

Look at all these whining beyotches pissed about the missed call on the int in the bama-lsu game. Funny thing is none of them are lsu fans. Ya’ll need to STFU. Just a lot of resentful, jealous losers out there pissed off over Florida and Bama and pissed off over they own 5-4 and 6-3 seasons. FU you loser whining ass punks.

JB- Just think of it like this. Next yrs. schedules not as brutal as this yr. UGA doesn’t play LSU, OK. St., or Arizona St. Ok St. was a tough game to have to open up the season w/…especially after replacing so many key players from last yr. Not only was it a road game, but Ok. St. had Dez Bryant for that game, & Not to many teams had to play them w/ him in a game. I believe that Kendall Hunter also didn’t play for a while, but of course they were pretty much full strength for UGA. I agree that Tenn. has improved & looks like they’re on the way up, but on the other hand…don’t assume anything by one yr. If you don’t know what I’m talking about just take a look at their depth chart…they really are losing a lot of key players. You never know what will happen, but I think we may be better next yr…hopefully.

If LSU fans and anti-Bama fans want to harp about the “almost interception” call in the 4th quarter of the ‘Bama-LSU game, then let’s talk about the fact that an LSU player tipped the ball from the four-yard line to inside the one-yard line on an LSU punt in the third quarter. Had the ball been properly spotted at the four, maybe LSU doesn’t get a safety and the ball back after the safety.

While I can’t say that ‘Bama would have avoided a safety if they’d have started that drive at their four instead of their one, you also can’t say that LSU would have scored a touchdown had the refs reversed the call in the 4th quarter and given LSU an interception and the ball.

I don’t have a dog in the LSU/UA fight….but the sideline official had no clue what happened right in front of his eyes. Notice he did NOT signal a completion…rather he just looked dazed. Alabama’s next bad call will be their first of the season. I think the Gator’s roll them with ease.
