The Gators need to be treated like every other SEC team. Period. All thugs should be suspended by their coach, but if he does not do it, the SEC should suspend and triple the suspension, plus fine the coach.

wes—-I can see that you’re not a regular reader of Tony Barnhart’s blog. If you were, you would know that Tony is generally an objective commentator on the UGA and Georgia Tech football programs, and he has had plenty of complimentary things to say about the Alabama, Florida and other SEC football programs this year. The only “offense” of which I can say Tony may be guilty is overemphasizing the SEC angles over those of the ACC, but that’s where Tony’s loyal readership lies. He writes for an Atlanta newspaper, and Atlanta is the crossroads of the South, and the alumni of every SEC university are well represented here. Surprise! SEC football fans are his primary readers.
