When it is all said and done and the Spikes issue is put to rest, the Bulldogs still suck.
Barnhart has been so busy trying to be an SEC officer that he forgets how lousy Richt and his mess in Athens really is.
The Nerds will kick doggie butts again this year.

So ... has Ealey been suspended by Richt for the elbow he threw? How about Nick Williams for his cheat shot, attempt to injur Tim Tebow?

What .... no suspensions from the religi-fake Richt? Not surprising .... as that cretin doesn't discipline that out-of-control pack of dawgs in Athens.

LOL ... UGa "got" what it deserved ... in Richt.

This just in, Georgia just accepted an invitation to play in the Poulan Weedeater Bowl in Northern Louisiana (Shreveport). As a payout, Georgia will receive $990,000 and 75 free weedwackers, one for every Parks and Recreation Major in the program.

Georgia Tech will play in THEIR conference championship game (sunny Tampa Florida) in hopes of advancing to the BCS Orange Bowl (sunnier Miami Florida). As a payout, Georgia Tech could receive $1,490,000 and 75 free deep sea fishing excursions. Georgia Tech plans to watch georgia’s bowl game on December 28th from its hotel over looking Key Largo.

Look at the Weedwackers falling from the sky!

Where is Slive when you need him to do something? No wonder coaches and fans are poor mouthing the officiating this year. A blatant act of eye gouging caught on camera and no penalty.
It doesnt matter what team or player this happened to. The intent was to do bodily harm. Meyer is smart by giving him a measly half game suspension. If the SEC had any guts they would set him out longer but they wont!

Hey Barnhart, get a grip. Your guy said that Spikes shouldn't have been suspended. You need to be more concerned about the reason the Dawgs suck to bad. Barnhart, worry about getting to the root cause of the real problem in Athens. If you are concerned about thugs, look at some film of the game. Which team is one of the most penalized in D1? Ah, could it be GA? You've got a real case of the bighead since you have been on TV. Like somebody outside of GA really cares.
I love the haters--as SOS said years ago--If they love you, they are beating you.

Our program is just plain tired. The Spikes video does look a lot worse than it was. Like many have said a LOT worse goes on in the piles that is never captured on tape.

I'm sure I'm going to get blasted by fellow Dawgs or accused of not being a "real fan" or "fair weathered" for what I'm about to say but deep down everyone will know it's true and sometimes the truth hurts. So here goes:

I was ASHAMED of the way our players acted on Sat. and Tampa Gator and others are absolutely right there were several acts of thuggery on the part of the Dawgs and it's no wonder Spikes reacted the way he did. If you're going to call out Spikes that's fine, but please don't turn a blind eye to what our Dawgs did and the lack of class displayed by many on Sat.
The players are obviously frustrated because the coaches are doing a p*ss-poor job of preparing them to play. We have talent but absolutely NO DISCIPLINE OR SENSE OF DIRECTION.
The coaches had TWO weeks to prep for Florida, and game film from two teams (Arkansas & Miss St) that gave blueprints on how to stop the gators. Does Willie even TRY to put together a different game plan? No he just marches them out there with the same tired scheme. This is the SEC not the MAC, you CAN NOT HAVE A ONE SIZE FITS ALL DEFENSE AND EXPECT TO STOP ANYONE!!!

Bobo actually called a decent game but he's handicaped by Joe T IV and his noodle arm. 21 turnovers & Cox is responsible for 13 of them! But he gives us the best chance to win?! Based on WHAT EXACTLY? Oh because the coaches run Logan out there in terrible situations with 3mins or less in a game for 1-2 plays (less than 10 snaps on the year). Is it what they see in practice? Doubtful, Murray and Gray BOTH looked MUCH better than Cox in the spring game. No these coaches had their mind made up and never even had an open competition.

All we heard ALL SPRING AND SUMMER LONG was we're going to address the penalties, and we actually have gotten WORSE!!! They make this a focus and the result is the problem gets WORSE!!! Are you kidding me??!!

I personally think some of the coaches (and we know which ones) have simply lost the players. These players aren't stupid, they know the coaches game plans flat out stink and that if they do what's asked of them they will be out of position to make a play or they have NO CHANCE to win. It's no wonder they don't care, why should they? The coaches obviously don't. 2 weeks to prep for the number one team in the nation and they act like it's vanderbilt. I asked my 10yr old what he thought and he said as much. "Dad, I thought this was supposed to be a big game for the Dawgs. They act like it's just any old game. Why do they make so many mistakes?" Maybe a little more time should have been spent on the game plan instead of fashion design. I don't see Meyer, Saban, or Miles worried about what their players are wearing.
The coaches are soft PERIOD. And GUESS WHAT? Players take on the persona of their coaches. So you want to know what kind of preperation and attitude towards the job the coaches are taking, just look at the players.

Lack of preperation by the coaches = poor play by the players
Lack of coaching fundamentals and focus = poor tackling and mental errors
Lack of emotion and fire from coaches = uninspired play by players
Coaches don't care = Players don't care.
Did anyone catch Willie trying to yell at Boykin and Jones on the sideline after a play as they came off the field? Notice how they just blew him off and walked right by? Why is that? They know he doesn't know what he's doing so they don't respect him.
Think about it this way...If you went into work and your employer did not give you the tools you needed to do your job effectively, and the directives he/she laid out always put you in a position to lose to your competitors, and then when things didn't work, the same boss that did that, blamed you (employee) for why things didn't work. How much respect would you have for your company or boss? How much effort would you put out for your company or boss?
Welcome to the current UGLY state of UGA football. Anyone who thinks we're simply missing Knowshon and Stafford and that this is a "Rebuilding year" is sadly mistaken. We have major issues.
Why would CMR feel the need to use a gimick to motivate his players to play against Florida? Shouldn't the embarrassment of what happened last year be enough? Perhaps we're looking at this wrong. Perhaps he's trying to motivate them to play for the COACHES because the coaches have lost this team.
Bottom line, our players went out and tried to bully and intimidate the gators and got b*tch slapped for the effort. Until we get coaches who will re-install discipline and hard nosed football played with CLASS AND PASSION we can expect more of the same. I wonder why Van Gorder decided to leave? Wonder why Kirby Smart couldn't leave fast enough. Winners won't tolerate a loser mentality. The players are rebeling the only way they know how. They know we have incompetence all over this staff. Mark it down, this is going to be one of the ugliest offseasons in UGA history. The ugliness and stench of what's going on is starting to be exposed slowly and gaining momentum. The "coach-speak" is old and is no longer covering up the real problems.
Go ahead and call me a fair weather fan, not a real fan, or whatever, but if those of you who disagree would pull your head out of the sand and really look at the program you will find I'm not off in my statements. I will tell you this I was a season ticket holder in 1995 (Goff's last year) I sat in Sanford for the final tick of the 52-17 beatdown and the rest of that season. I will say this. Ray Goff may have been in over his head, but at least he CARED! At least his teams played with passion and fire. I'm tired of the "Aw Shucks, everything's fine" crap.
I KNOW CMR has brought the program back a long way, but he's been resting on his laurels the past two seasons and we have major slipage going on.
Get the ship right or get out!!!
Go Dawgs!
