Things got a little stupid last week in both the SEC and the ACC. But I’m gonna crank up the ol’ smart pill machine again anyhow…

Tennessee loses to Alabama
Ole Miss loses to Arkansas (maybe)
Auburn loses to LSU
MSU loses to Florida
Georgia doesn’t lose this week
Monroe loses to Kentucky
Vandy loses to South Carolina

The key in analyzing this long streak of VA’s over GT is who the coaches were during that stretch.

On paper, there is not one single team left on their schedule to stop them from winning out. The UGA game will be tough in name only because of the rivalry hatred. But on the field there is no comparison. UGA is pitifully weak this year and this will be a country butt whipping by GT and by halftime that game will be over.

GT is going to beat the stuffing out of VA. The score is going to be something like a 3 TD win.

Miami will beat Clemson

LSU will beat Auburn

Alabama will beat Tennessee

Florida will beat Miss State

Boston College will beat Notre Dame

Mark Richt was said to be seen in the redlight district in Knoxville after the UT beating he received. Put the bottle down and stop drinking Mark before you destroy your family. Your wife had an affair last year I bet she never told you about it but I heard the rumors. Georgia needs a new head coach to come in and bring character back to the university.

Dude, here goes another techie acting as though GT was some super program and UGA’s dominance of Tech just started. Yeah 10 years ago, GT beat UGA 3 times, 2 of those 3 games got officials suspended the following season. Even still that’s 3 wins. Since 1980 Tech is 7-21 against UGA.

That’s not to say that the program isn’t looking good at the moment, it is. PJ is a very solid coach and if he stays he’ll always have a good program. But just as I said to GTSteve, 1 win last year by 3 points didn’t come with any crown nor obviously any post season hardware. Hell you didn’t even finish ranked higher than us. Your post shows complete ignorance and jealousy. If you’re a real Tech fan, lifelong fan, you should enjoy the moment because god only knows it won’t last forever (unless you’re florida apparently).

Now, to your post… Matt to Joe v/s those other names on that list isn’t all that uncommon. First of all, Chris leak was an average recruit, Vince Young was above average but turned into a beast toward the end. Bottom line is Matt Stafford while still in high school, Mel Kiper and Todd McShay both said he would be the #1 pick in the draft when he went. No kid wants to come in behind that kind of prospect, a dearth is to be expected. UF is lucky lucky lucky Tebow stayed, the Brantly kid would not have been ready to step in full time this year, no way.
