Mr. CFB will be back on Friday

Friends,

I’m  sorry but I can’t be with you today. We lost my wife’s mother this week and this morning I am attending the funeral.

She was a fine lady and we will miss her. I have been asked by the family to give the eulogy. I hope I can get through it.

I’ll see you again on Friday with our predictions.

Thanks,

TB

Deepest sympathy to your family. On a lighter note. A good SEC team would destroy the Blue Broncos of Boise St. Heck, I think Miss. St. would expose them as mediocre. War Eagle!

Sorry to hear of your and your wife’s loss of her mother.

I was asked to give the eulogy at my mother-in-law’s funeral, also. I asked her and The Lord to get me through it, and they did. I kept thinking about all of the good times, the fond memories, and the way she always spoke her mind….”Just tellin’ it like it is”.

It ain’t easy, but in times of great trial we often find strength we never knew we had.

RAMBLE ON!!!—I have to stop and really wonder how sad and pathetic your existence must be, how unhappy you are, how mean-spritited and ugly you’ve become at this stage of your life, no matter what your age is. If you were born that way, I hope you continue on for the rest of your days as unhappy and bile-filled as you are now, each day as miserable as the last day was. If some one did this to you somehow, it’s never too late to turn things around and start enjoying the joy that life offers to each and every one of us every day. You can’t control what people do to you but you have complete control over how you react.

Tony, may God hold your wife, you and the rest of the family in the palm of His hand. As another poster said so well, remember the gift of her presence and spirit, and remember the Parable of the Candle.

Take care of your family, we are all praying for you.

My father passed away in the fall of 1980 after a long illness. The last conversation I had with him he said “Son, don’t let your mother schedule my funeral on a Saturday afternoon. I don’t want my friends to have to miss their game to attend my service.” Football fan to the end.

Tony, Nobody cares about your family, either give us some football nuggets or get someone else to do your job. We all deal with death but you don’t see us coming onto the blog and trying to drum up sympathy. Typical UGA fan, wanting pitty. Tech plays VT Saturday night and we want to talk about that, not about your stupid mother-in-law, who you probably didn’t even like anyway. GO JACKETS, and get back to work Tony

I know the sorrow you and your family feel. I lost my dad unexpectedly two weeks ago. There is an empty void in life now. He loved UGA football and we talked almost every Sunday recapping the game. In time this void will go away but will never be filled. God bless you and your wife’s family during this time.

Bobby Dodd – if you are such a great Tech fan, why disgrace the greatest name in Tech coaching history? You to were born of a mother and at sometime you will be in the same shoes that Tony’s family is in right now. I hope and pray that someone offers you more smypathy than you have displayed! Tech fans should be appalled at you.

The “Bobby Dodd” user is just a UGA posing as a Tech fan to try and make Tech look bad. Now that is the definition of a loser.

Im just a UGA loser posing as a Tech fan to make tech look like a jerk. We UGA fans are such tools to hijack GT names, and pose as GT fans to rile up the folks on the board.

This comment is to not only Bobby Dodd, but to everyone so pathetic in imagination and identity they have to post comments using famous peoples’ names: If you are so scared of using your own name, then be creative and come up with something on your own. Don’t denigrate the person that has made his name recognizable. Tony, condolences to you and your family, and God Bless. You have very many real friends out here that trump the few jerks, so just ignore them.

If Mark Richt were any other color than white, he would have been fired long ago. The good ole boy network in Georgia won’t let Damon Evans fire Richt. Georgia is tolerant of the fact Richt won’t and can’t do the job for which he was hired. He is WAY too overpaid; he should return his salary.
