The smart pill machine is acting up this week. Don’t know if it’s Arkansas or Kentucky, but I get the feeling that something stupid is gonna happen next Saturday in the SEC. Oh well… gotta go with the smart picks and hope for the best.

South Carolina loses to Alabama
Arkansas loses to Florida
Kentucky loses to Auburn
Vanderbilt loses to Georgia
LSU doesn’t lose this week
UAB loses to Ole Miss
Tennessee doesn’t lose this week
Middle Tennessee loses to Mississippi State

Nothing stupid will happen this week in the ACC. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the Turkeys will be on the Yellow Jackets like a chicken on a June Bug.

Yeah, I got a little peeved from the harassment. I have friends in Georgia and I have always admired the UGA football program. I said what I said in anger.

That being said, I stand by my contention that the University of Alabama runs a clean program and has an honorable academic tradition. None of Bama’s recent NCAA problems have been due to corruption at the university. Our severe sanctions were brought about because of the stupid behavior of a rouge booster. The NCAA obviously drops the hammer on SEC schools for trivial infractions, while ignoring major rules violations by the likes of Colorado, USC, Notre Dame and Ohio State. SEC programs shouldn’t relish in back-stabbing one another over these actions.

I understand the frustration that a fan-base feels when there are problems with their football programs — and Georgia is having a difficult run at the moment. Hang in there. It will be fixed.

Hello Pit Bull: What that means is UGA is on par with LSU. Either team was good enough to win the game. Coach Urban Meyer waid LSU has the best defense in the SEC, thats why I gave the link. I appreciate UGA and just don’t believe the program is as down and out as so many of the bloggers here do. However, I find it significant when the coach of the defending National Champion says LSU has the best defense in the SEC, well, I’ll say it again,

I’m not saying its a shoe in, hell we may not even fire Willy with my luck. But, if we do, and the position is open… don’t be terribly surprised if he… “just comes runnin’.”
