It's sad that Mr. Barnhart calls himself Mr. CFB and doesn't know that Troy State changed their name 4 years ago to Troy University.

I don't know whether or not we'll see the entirety of the GT offense this week but I don't think it will matter. If you listen to or read anything from CPJ he runs his plays "in the moment" and based on his read of the other teams defense and it tends to work. If it doesn't, he runs something he thinks will work. Therefore, the amount of plays we see is independent of what you might see later in the season.

JaxDawg

Good response and I agree. I for one hope it doesn’t become a scoring shootout. I have full confidence in our defense but I am holding back judgment with our offence. Not worried per say with the O-line but the question marks at the skilled positions. A.J. is the one I feel will be doubled teamed and it will take a breakout performance from the running game to open it up for Joe Cox to be effective passing. Any way I look at it, it will be a very close game but not as high a score as being predicted. I see the game as even and the edge going to the Dogs due to the front guys on both sides of the ball. Good luck OKS but not tomorrow.

Despite the prognosticator's infinite wisdom, the Okies will lose. Too much SEC power and speed. I don't think even Martinez can screw up against the Okies with the pressure that will be applied on their backfield by Jeff Owens and company. He(Owens) has not been effectively stopped in any game his physically healthy. Double teams on he and Geno Atkins will leave multiple opportunities for Curran and other LBs to feast on their qb and backs. Their qb will see plenty of time getting hit regularly. Offensively, the Dawgs will do just fine with our top offensive line, an experienced leader in Cox and a monster in waiting in Samuels. Thomas will frustrate the Okies because they won't be able to see him over on our 6' 5" lineman until he is in the open and then gone. Expect long sustained drives by UGA which keeps the Okies offense off of the field. Dawgs 27-17.

GatorDave, you obviously haven't been on these blogs the past few weeks dealing with all the ACC/Techie homers spewing how the ACC is going to destroy the SEC in head-to-head matchups. Anyone who saw the game last night knows how ugly it was, but that was supposed to be one of the ACC's "guarnteed" wins over the SEC. That's why you're seeing all the SEC 1 ACC 0 posts.

On another note: ESPN needs to get Lou Holtz a CAT scan. 1st he predicts ND to go to the national championship game and beat FL, then he picks OkSt to beat UGA (which I don't have a problem with), but his REASON why the cowboys win according to him is their defense?!?!

I hope he's not serious and just throwing out crazy predictions to be funny, but man, if I'm breaking that game down and were to pick OkSt to win it certainly wouldn't be because of their D!

Dawgs 38 Pokes 24

Good luck to the rest of the SEC teams in their non-conference match ups this weekend. Make the SEC proud!

Go Dawgs!

What a bunch of idiots spewing the SEC 1 ACC 0 garbage. That game last night was a joke of a football game between two bad teams. I guess if you're UGAG though you have to rely on the SEC dominates theory....of course that mostly due to THE UF Gators.

That candy ass UGAG team won't beat OSU or Georgia Tech this year...which will make for a nice out of conference record, you do however play Tennessee Tech...so it least you goofy asses can beat a teamed name Tech.

Down with the "Dawgs"

Go Gators....Chomp Chomp Chomp

Hey Urban....take another timeout!
