jaxdawgfan—-My comment was intended to be a little more pointed than “win one, and you win one.” My larger point was the Dawgs are building confidence (as well as a program) this year. Inter-sectional match-ups between two top-15 ranked teams can make or break a season, and, in rare circumstances, a program. Bottom line: Georgia is not expected to be a national contender in 2009, but they could take a big step toward getting everyone to take a second look by posting a solid win over the ‘pokes. By way of example, do you remember what happened to the relative fortunes of Southern Cal and Auburn after the Trojans stomped the Tigers flat in the season opener several years ago? Think about it . . . .
