For those of you that are questioning why T. Lindley is on this list while praising the talent of AJ or J. Jones, here is a stat for you:
In games against Kentucky last year
Team -- Player -- Catches -- Yards -- Long
Alabama -- J. Jones 3 52 23
Georgia -- AJ Green 2 53 42 (Massaquoi had a big game but after Lindley left with an injury)

Thanks for your inclusion of Lindley, projected as a first round draft pick. He is among several underrated recruits the UK staff have found and developed into Pros, he, Jarmon, and Pryor were all two stars and they have several three stars now on pro teams. One mistake, Lindley both grayshirted and redshirted at UK and will be starting for the fourth year I think so he has definitely been there more than three years. Still improving, we hope, he has added 10# since last year.

I consider the NCAA's treatment of the Jarmon case as a crime, but not that unusual for them.

Now for your laugh of the day. Jones and Green have all the hype and have certainly lived up to it so far, but what SEC receiver is bigger, (220#), taller, (6' 5"), possibly faster, (4.5 listed and 4.4 forty susposedly timed, not sure of the others) more experienced, and had more catches than either Jones or Green last year? UK JC transfer Chris Matthews, who had 80 catches for over 1,000 yards and 13 TDs last year in only 9 games.

Read it again, I didn't say he was better, and I know there is a big difference in JC and the SEC, but he has been looking very good so far, and my stats are real. His biggest problem may be a QB to get it to him but every UK WR was a first time starter last year except Lyons who got injured, Mattthews, Cobb and experience will make Hartline look much better this year.

I do think it is interesting that there is another receiver in the SEC that has better numbers than our already established phenoms, at least on paper, albeit some from JC. I'm sure he won't be mentioned with the other two this year, but it will be something you might want to keep your eye on.

Losing Jeremy Jarmon for something he took at GNC was a huge lose for our defensive squad. Although he is already making the money for the Redskins (yuck), he did get there without possibly having a career ending injury. Plus I'd rather have Albert Haynesworth on my team than facing him, just ask Tom Brady. I know the players are supposed to check with coaches on anything they take, but I think that if a medication or anything that is in GNC or herbs, muscle boosters, or anything of this sort, if it is a banned substance by the NFL or NCAA it should BE LABELED, inside with the paper or outside on the box. What he took was nothing to suspend him for his senior year. I'd say Florida players get it covered up all the time. But this should be addressed and willingly done so by the makers of the products.

One of the best tight ends was Kentucky's Jacob Tamme, drafted by the Colts Tamme was injured some last year but is already beginning to show promise for them. Dallas Clark is their main TE but Tamme has also got great hands. He was Woodson's guy to go to especially because he was a big target. The guy is also got the academic brain, he finished his master's before he left UK.
