Hi folks. In case you missed my announcement on Friday, Mr. College Football is taking his traditional break in June and will return on Monday, July 6. When I get back we will be only 16 days from SEC Media Days in Birmingham which will be followed by the ACC Kickoff in Greensboro, N.C. Wow!
Until then I have a homework assignment for you. Give me your order of finish, by division, in the ACC and SEC for 2009. If you want to state your case for the winners, be my guest. I’ll check back from time to time to read your predictions.
If something big happens while I’m away and I’m near a computer, I’ll try to come back for a day and play.
Thanks for all of your support. I’m looking forward to a great 2009 season.

Since you all irrationally take credit when an SEC team wins, I assume each one of you will step up and take the blame for 2 SEC teams being hit with NCAA violations within a week.

MNC winner of the tOSU vs USC and winner of Texas vs. OU both teams run the tables before meeting in the title game with perfect records.
I think it will be tOSU vs. OU with OU winning.

Why doesn’t the ACC realign into divisions that make sense? Make it North and South, forget the promises to FSU and Miami to separate them, neither are worth a hoot anymore. Coastal and Bi-coastal, or whatever, is stupid.
As for N AVe Dude and your GT 12-0 or 13-0 prediction…..sure, right, when pigs fly. I suspect GT is more along the lines of the team that played in the Peach, now known as Chick fil A Bowl, and was blown out by LSU than the one that managed a 45-42 win over a non-tackling Ga team that would have won the game with one more possession. Playing in the ACC virtually guarantees GT 7 wins, add to that Jax St and you are on your way big boy. 12-0 regular season ain’t happening, 13-0 ain’t happening, Sugar Bowl ain’t happening nor is Fiesta. The ACC chump, meant to say champ, goes to the Orange to play the Least East winner. A game against Rutgers should really make the ticklepile inviting. Dive in.

To reiterate, Florida wins SEC East and Championship, now that Florida snag Solomon Patton, a receiver from Mobile, Ala. from Tuscaloosa.

From the rich getting richer section, Florida has recruited their 2nd receiver in 2 days. On Monday, the Gators picked up Stephen Alli (a 6′5″ receiver from Toronto, Canada), this makes him the 14th committed player added to the Gators 2010 Class. How about them apples…Georgia, LSU and etc?

What was that final score last year when the Cats faced the Dogs?? …lots of talent lost from that UGA team keep talking the smack we’ll just lay it down. Keep overlooking the defense and the offense will be much improved.
Can’t wait to meet you in Athens this year!

SEC East:
UF – Duh.
SC – Under the radar…
UGA – Will get exposed as weak team, they overachieved last year.
UT – Decent, but that’s it.
UK
Vandy
SEC West:
LSU – Talent at QB gives them the edge over Bama.
Bama – O-line and QB will cost us a game or two.
Arkansas – If they had a defense they could make a run for the west title.
Ole Miss – Overrated!!!!! (Nutt’s Team always flops when expectations are high.)
Auburn – Defense will keep them decent.
Miss St – Not enough talent.
Not Disappointed

Alot of people are putting faith in the new LSU QB that was still not winning big games except 1 against GT. IMO their schedule is to hard and they finished 3rd with Auburn in 4th.

most of you feel tennessee will be that bad, conventional wisdom says the masses are usually wrong. This will not be the year for the vols, but they still have more talent than uk,vu,usc and the pup’s were exposed last yr.
