It's laughbale when there's so much discussion about..."well, in 2009, defenses will be much more experienced defending against the triple-option and will have learned how to defend against it eliminating its effectivesness."

You don't hear the same spin doctors saying..."well, now that defenses have had experience with the PRO-STYLE offense, they will have learned how to defend againist it, eliminiating its effectiveness."

LOL

OK...Back to the ACC Coastal.

In 2008, GT won games DESPITE playing with an incredibly weak and inexperienced roster due to the staggering list of experienced players out multiple games(or all season) due to injuries on both sides of the ball, leaving freshmen to carry the load MOST OF THE SEASON. An inexperienced GT pass defense gave up huge points in the passing game in 2008. Witness Stafford's last game.

This GT Offense is gonna easily average 35+ points per game in 2009. It's gonna be shocking how many points this offense is gonna score every game this year. In 2008, GT offense was #4 in the nation in rushing, WITH A BUNCH OF FRESHMEN DOING THE BLOCKING. I will echo the sentiment Doug Roberson had a few days ago about the upcoming 2009 GT season: "WITNESS THE POWER OF A FULLY-OPERATIONAL SPREAD TRIPLE OPTION OFFENSE."

As for the GT Defense, GT WILL LEAD THE NATION IN INTs in 2009. Take it to the bank. GT will have a SHUT-DOWN passing defense in 2009. Burnette led the nation in INTs just by himself in 2008. In 2009, he's gonna have LOTS of experineced DB/CB support around him.

Just like in 1989 when GT went 7-4 under Bobby Ross. All the pieces slowly but surely fell into place that year. It was the stepping stone for what followed...in 1990.

Are you guys scared like I am about the upcoming football game against Georgia? I am very concerned, all yall need to wake up and smell the coffee. Georgia owns us and we don’t have much longer to hide behind the “45-42″ phrase. I’m terrified!!!

AMAZING...even when Ben Anderson has EARNED the projected stater spot he is still overlooked by someone who is supposed to be plugged in. TJ Barnes starting over Ben Anderson at D-tackle? Are you kidding? TJ's time is coming but get up to date people. Is Ben the wrong persuasion to get love by you people? It sure does seem that way. Maybe when he starts and takes some plays off he will get some respect. GT has always been about blue collar kids that come in, work hard, and contribute. We have that in this kid. Am I the only one noticing this? In the minority and still kicking arse. Shove it down there throat Ben. Keep working hard Big Ben we need ya babe.

"7-1 Last 7 years in football HaHaHaHa!"
Good grief.... 7+1 = 8.
Apparently thinking and laughing at the same time is a bit to much to ask.
