Back to the Marijuana topic for the moment, I tried it, wasn't all that impressed haven't used it again. Now that full disclosure is out of the way.

People who claim that Marijuana is a gateway drug need to realize WHY it is a gateway drug. It's illegal. You try something that is illegal, don't see any bad affects from it, realize you can just as easily get away with something more illegal, (maybe even more easily, e.g. pills which are easier to conceal/use) and then you're cycling up into the harder drugs. If legalized, marijuana would no longer be a relatively consequence free introduction into illegal activities.

You missed that the shirt comment was actually a twofer itself. Southern Cal's coaches are also know for shirtless recruiting tactics, although with Pete Carrol getting the nod for 2nd fittest college coach, can you blame him?

"The people that get the most mileage out of the Bear are usually fans of another school like yourself who always harp about Bama fans “living in the past”. We moved on 26 years ago when Bear died. I suggest you do the same."

Yeah, ok we believe that. With those 10,000 houndstooth hats in Jordan-Hare West and the stickers of the Bear's stupid hat plastered on people's vehicle, you cannot sit there and tell that lie. You better go ahead and ask for forgiveness right now. YOU ARE THE FANS who keep him alive, so don't blame it on other fans just to feel better about yourself. Oh wait, that's what Bama has always done as you see in the quote above. 26 years my arse, and it's not even that old. You won't ever let him die.

1) Urban should apologize. He's just pissed that himself and Tebo have never beaten the AUBURN TIGERS.
2) Utah needs to shut the **** up. I agree with the poster that said to place Utah in the SEC. Im sure we would never hear from them again.
3) Thank goodness we still give 2nd chances... I sure dont know where I would be if we didnt have them. Check out the Larry Eustacy hire in basketball at Southern Miss. No more partying with the co-eds in the Big 12. USM gave him a chance to redeem himself, and he's a better person because of it.
4) Im glad to see Tuberville doing something. He was a dang good coach, that got lazy. I liked him, and wish him the best.

Great article as always, Tony. Loved the Mother's Day part especially. And every Spring Day brings us one step closer to the best sports season of all - College Football. With Kiffin at UT and with Auburn's new staff, the SEC will enjoy even more drama (if that's possible).

He didn't end his show with the "Don't forget to call you Mama" line. That line came from a commercial for a telephone company (AT&T or the regional carrier). The story goes that the script was written for Coach Bryant and he didn't like. The "Mama" came from an ad lib. One take.

ChuyDAWG, I duno if that qualifies as a "poor decision". In fact, I think that downplays what happend pretty severely. That said however, I do not know the ins and outs of what happens. Obviously, whatever he did couldn't of been too involving in the whole case. So I'll just trust that the head coach of UT knows what hes doing. I really don't have much of an opinion of what they should do. I do agree with Tony though in that this kid would probably do better at a less scrutinizing school. He's under the microscope now, and will be for a very long time.
