johnny reb....first of all, let me thank you for getting my getting my Monday started off with a laugh. Ole Miss in the title game? I dont care who you are, thats funny right there.

As for the comment about the QB and OL at AL being an unknown, I agree. Not sure where the road game in Oxford comes into play. I have seen BAMA play there. It was a close game in the end as they all seem to be recently but it had nothing to do with a home field advantage for Ole Miss. Your stadium is small and not loud in any way, shape or form. If Ole Miss beats Alabama this year, which likely will not happen, it will have nothing to do with the game being in Oxford. It will be because Ole Miss is the better team...which will not happen. Remember....in the end, you are still Ole Miss and you guys are OWNED by BAMA. The overall series record is like 50-8 and I dont see Ole Miss hitting double figures anytime soon!

n football, they did it with the best defense in the history of the school, a fact that ensuing National Football League drafts and free agency helped to confirm. In a two-year period, Carolina put 14 people in the league off the UNC defense alone.

At the start of '97, only Notre Dame and Florida State (which were tied for first) had more alumni playing in the NFL than Carolina.

Florida could field their 2nd team and beat 2/3 of SEC teams and probably everyone in the ACC! Florida, then LSU, Bama, Ole Miss are the class of the SEC.

The gators will lose at least two games this year....the team( as usual) will point fingers and blame everyone but themselves just like they did in 07" when Georgia kicked their a$$ and 08' when Ole Miss beat them on their own field. The team will split loyalty between Tebow and Brantley....and Meyer will point fingers at his coaches and players instead of maning up and taking the blame himself.....You can bet the house they WILL NOT repeat as SEC or National Champs. Alabama will be good but not as good as their fans would have you believe...they have many flaws(see 08'Sugar Bowl), their new QB will struggle early in the season when he has to face good defenses instead of his own team as he did this past weekend.Auburn will be a lot better than people think. Their coaching staff is stronger than Alabama's top to bottom and will coach them through tight game for wins...they are a year away from challegeing for the West title.....LSU will win the West in 09'( although Ole Miss could win)and Georgia the East mainly because Florida has spent the last year patting themselves on the back while looking at themselves in the mirror and telling anyone who would listen how great they are....while Georgia has quietly come together as a team and gone about Spring practice as a team on a mission......gators fans need to beware...stock up on jean shorts and mullett jell....look up the word humble in the dictionary....because when you start going down everyone else is going to have a field day laughing at you.

UGA will lose two or three conference games and probably be in tie for 3rd in SEC East...8-4, 9-3 if everything goes their way. UGA, S.C. and Vandy will fight it out for second-third. Tenn and Kentucky will fight it out for last.

Coach Meyer knows that Richt may have a recruiting advantage over him for quarterbacks after having a high NFL, possibly #1, draft choice. He wants to make sure his system doesn't hurt Tebow any more than it already has as far as his NFL chances. With all that said, I think that Tebow is a great player and if I was an NFL coach, would take a chance on him. He is a system quarterback plain and simple, but a darn good one plain and simple.

Tim Tebow may or may not go high in the NFL draft, but one thing for sure, he will continue to punish Richt and the crimedogs for the end zone gangsta dance.
