I think an 8 team playoff will make it easier for a SEC team to win the championship. Florida needs to stay focused. Our problems been not having leaders on both sides of the ball, and not playing every game hard all season. I think we have that now. Spurrier should have won more than one champsionship, but hes not as good a coach as Urban Meyer. Maybe hes a better QB coach but thats it. when Tebow leaves the offense will be just as good but will look more like a traditional offense when Brantley takes over. You critics know he’s NFL bound. We also have the recruits on defense to step up in 2010.

Two things foxdog –

First, 46 – 38 = 8. All day long. So, it is 8 more Gator wins to tie the series.

Second, it’s not just since 1990. If you look at the last 50 years as a good round number, the Gators are up by 6 wins on your Dawgs. If you look at the last 60 years, we are up by 10 wins. Your Dawgs have to go all the way back to the 1930s to see a lead in this series. It is true that your Dawgs had our number back in the Great Depression days and back to WWI. If that makes you feel good, you can still fall back on that when we take the series lead.

I love the fans of the south. Whether its the Gators or any other teams, it comes down to injuries and turnovers. By the way, I wish Stafford and Moreno all the luck in the world. I hope they both have long NFL careers.

Billy Jack you really are showing your ignorance by name calling, but I will always take the higher road and remain cordial without the name calling. And it seems everyone else has already answered your statement. RICHT WASN’T the HEADCOACH. Only a coordinator, which means everyone else from assistant coaches on down get rings, so that your point is moot. You have yet to prove your point. Meyer got 2 rings in 4 years, Saban was a game away from winning his second ring, Miles has one and honestly they are my biggest fear in winning the SEC this year and the national championship. Spurrier has a ring and I forgot Fulmer has one too but he is gone. So again COACHING is what Mark Richt lacks. Until he can at least get to the national championship game your argument is worthless. I could care less about records “only 1 of 5 coaches to win an SEC title his first 5 years in the history of the conf.” WHO CARES when you dont have ONE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP RING OR APPEARANCE TO BACK IT UP. Coaches dont coach for records they coach to win the hardware CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS. Right or wrong? 10 WIN SEASONS?? ARE YOU SERIOUS?? Who plays to have a 10 win season and be happy with that??? Mark Richt and thats why he will always be 5th place in the SEC, sorry but the truth hurts. So again how about UGA fire Mark Richt and hire Charlie Strong as a head coach and see what happens. I see no one is touching that topic??? Its not rocket science that DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS…it goes back to my initial point….COACHING is what separates the little boys from the grown men in the college football. Either you got it or you don’t.

I got news for you, pups. The ossnoles’ team manager got rings, too. You know, the guy that collects and washes the jockstraps. Maybe you could hire him to add to your little school’s prestige. Like most former semis, you can find him at the farmer’s market, in prison, or in gay chat rooms.

Any luck getting TWLOCP moved to home and home? Meyer wants to be the first coach to score sixty between the hedges. How sad that your best chance of beating UF is to have the coach leave.
