What was this article about? "Berry likes new energy?" Well, that's good for him (and them) but only time will tell. Having Vol Walks at the spring game, and blather from the (newbie) head coach will get the pulse up for the faithul and the crazies, but those who posted above about getting hit in the mouth are correct. Remember when you were fired up and walking on air at kick-off time (when and if you played) and then about 5 minutes into the game, all of that was gone and then talent, practice, preparation, etc. was the reality that held court play after play? Well, that same maxim will apply to UT just like it does to everybody else. No difference. As for all of those former NFL coaches, it's not a guarantee that will transfer into success in college. Maybe it will: but time will tell. L Kiffen wasn't a success in the NFL. His dad I am told was; however Tampa Bay wasn't very "fearful" on D these past few years. And didn't they fire Coach Chuckie?

Oh well, in a few months we'll all know. Can't wait 'til football season.

UT is always a tough game. They never really dropped very low but the orange freaks just couldn't stand the direction that Fulmer was going and fired their coach, who brought them a NC. That was pretty shamefull. I know UT is never an easy game to play and a win against them is always a big deal. But, if you guys think that we are worried about Coach Richt, then you are wrong. We like our leader and are confident that he will continue to keep us as a strong, top level program. Can you guys say that yet about Kiffin? One thing for sure, no coach will ever show loyalty to your school after what you allowed to happen to Fulmer. If Kiffin is the real deal, then he will leave to go to the NFL. If not, then you will be starting over again if 3 years. It's a fact.

I love reading these posts from UT fans, my God. And they call Bama fans unrealistic. Refresh my memory real quick- who was the ONLY team from the SEC East that didn't qualify for a bowl game last year? Oh yeah- that's right, I forgot. You guys are losers. Enjoy another losing season.

Dan,

You think UT upsets Bama in Tuscaloosa this year? You're a funny guy. Upon what logic you base that statement I would be curious to know.

Also, I see that JB is still touting that Nick Saban is leaving Bama very soon. Kinda funny that he's been saying that for 3 years now. Well, you can always hope can't you JB?

I actually think Tennessee won't be bad this year. They have a pretty good defense and their schedule is very winnable. I think they'll lose to Florida, UGA, and Ole Miss. And I'm calling it right now, they will upset Alabama this year in Tuscaloosa. I'm thinking the Vols will be 8-4 or 9-3 this year.

Huh : For you to be afraid of any man is a disgrace. Grow a set or borrow one from your old lady. Let us reflect...CMR was brought in due to the fact no UGA coach after Dooley could stop the Big Orange Express from rolling over UGA and the HOPE was that he would stop the bleeding. What are the facts here..? 9 staight sound right..?. Check the 9 year run Bro, Huh...Fulmer left UT with a >.650% against UGA. From your words, I can tell the truth has done smacked you good... CMR has a 5-3(?)advantage today. Right or wrong? Kiffin has yet to lead a team into battle with UGA. I gots this tingly feeling running up my leg that CLK's first signature win will come against UGA. Worried..?
