* The Canadiens have lost three straight games, including Saturday’s 2-0 loss to the Capitals, and five of their past seven.

* The Thrashers power play is 1-for-19 over the past six games.

* Andrew Ladd leads the Thrashers in points (55) and goals (27). He leads all forwards in assists (28).

* Former Thrashers defenseman Brent Sopel has appeared in seven games with the Canadiens since the February trade. He is averaging nearly 16 minutes a game and does not have a point.

Another point… The game will be shown on giant screens in the Quebec Pepsi Colisée to a capacity crowd of 15 000 +. The goal is to demonstrate to the NHL brass that Quebec City is ready to get its Nordiques back… (

By how – watching TV? I hope that the event sponsorship for this thing is out of the world, since it was that – and not the fans – that caused the ‘Diques to move.

Anyone who does not believe in booing the refs has should be convinced that it does have an effect on them after seeing the penalty call against Buff. What a joke.
