Today’s quote(s) of the day comes from Thrashers captain Andrew Ladd following Sunday night’s 4-1 win over Boston, the fifth straight for the team.
“I think we’ve proven ourselves that we can play with any team in this league,” Ladd said. “… I think you can see us getting more confident every day with what we need to do to win. Winning only breeds that confidence.”
When told the Thrashers are closing in on the franchise record six-game win streak, Ladd added:
“I think that was the talk going into this year that we were going to bring a new culture here. A new idea of what this team is going to do it and how we are going to compete. When we do that, we give ourselves a chance to win. We are just looking to keep doing that and getting better.”

I would of loved to of seen a video (like the oilers) of the preseason speeches given to the team by Rammer. Everyone feels smarter after hearing him talk. Your seeing the results now because of the players listening and respecting him and implementing his plan. I have always thought teachers make the best coaches.

We’ll see how they react when they get behind…but I do know it has been nice to see how this team can finish games when playing with the lead.
I can’t believe I am saying this but the Thrashers are a difficult to play against when they have a lead!

Too bad we can not create a better game day experience.
The Thrashers ownership is disgustingly apathetic. Going to a game is depressing.

Now that college football is winding down, hopefully some of the fair weather Atlanta fans will start showing up. The T-Birds are almost as exciting as the Falcons to watch.

I just don’t expect some things to improve until the court case FINALLY ends, and the other guy “ponies up”.
This sorry Marxist inspired Economy doesn’t help either.
We do however, have a few excellent sponsors…… SUPPORT THEM.
