MacIntyre re-assigned; Mannino expected to join Thrashers

Goaltender Drew MacIntyre is not at practice. He has been re-assigned to AHL Chicago. Prospect Chris Carrozzi, who was assigned to ECHL Gwinnett, is the other goaltender at practice.

I expect Peter Mannino to join the Thrashers in L.A.

I will update as news becomes official either today or tomorrow.

* Everyone else at practice. Line combinations are the same.

[...] San Antonio Rampage 6-3… was flown to Tampa Saturday prior to the 5-3 loss to the Lightning. However, C-Viv now reports that he has been sent back to the AHL, that Chris Corrozzi practiced with the team Monday morning [...]

I thought that there would be a little line shuffling after the game in Tampa.

The D didn’t make the trip to Tampa! Poor Mason didn’t get any help. I could’ve scored the first two goals if you leave me alone like that and then 3 deflections! Somebody pick up a man!

Well, MacIntyre got a FREE trip to Tampa! Let’s see how long Mannino stays.

Why, oh why, aren’t the next three games being televised??

Why is there so much switching with the goalies? Is Mannino the starter for the Wolves? If so than I suspect he just played making MacIntyre the one to go to Tampa.
I don’t understand this, does anyone?

Jared, evidently Mannino was ill and unable to join Atlanta in Tampa on Saturday, otherwise, he would have been the one pulled up.

NHL Center ice is free until 24 October. The home teams should be televising the game.

The Thrashers-Bolts game(the Tampa Bay feed) was listed on my channel guide, but it was shown as blacked out on Center Ice when I turned to the channel during game time. Hopefully, since this one wasn’t being broadcast here anyway, the California feeds won’t be blacked out on Center Ice, but if they are…

Don’t even ask ;)

Any idea why Bogo came off the ice early today?

Just checked my channel guide again, and the Thrashers-Kings game is unavailable on Center Ice. I have Dish Network (but at this rate, not for much longer…)

That is, the game is listed, but it’s being blacked out, at least in my house.

For once a Thrasher-game that can be seen from this side of the pond (via ESPN America: http://www.espnamerica.com/fi/f1/tv-schedule), but not in Atlanta. Not that I have a schadenfreude or anything, but we’ll usually be lucky if we see 5 games a season here in Europe…

What a wacky world the modern media world is …

Home team can’t be watched at home, but can be watched in ANOTHER COUNTRY.

(and I don’t mean Canada)

Stunning.

NHL on the Fly just listed the Thrashers-Kings game on NHL Network tonight. It’s not on the channel guide, but the the show’s hosts said it themselves. I hope it’s not just the “live look-in,” but the whole game. Thanks again, Fox and Dish Network!!

To all fellow SCREWED Dish Network customers:

I got so fed up yesterday, I actually tried to switch to Direct TV – but they bothched my order up, ran my credit card, did a credit check – then said they would have to start all over – so to hell with them.

NOW THEN – If you are a Dish Network customer like I am, call them with a firm but cordial complaint with the threat to cancel and I got $10 a month knocked off my bill for the next 12 months. Not many 5 minute phone calls return $120, but this one did!

Tell them instead of the discount you’d pay $3 more a month and maybe you’d have FOX Sports and the Thrasher games.!

So Hillman – you gonna tell the dish company that you are ready to pay $3 a month every time they go into negotiations with a stubborn network?

If you want to wind up with a $200 a month bill, go for it, but I’m taking the stand of not negotiating with strongarm networks and politely voicing my displeasure.

BTW – another reason you’re suggestion sucks is that if I wanted to, I could take that $120 and get Center Ice and get ALL NHL games while you pay $36 a year to get just the Thrashers. But it’s a free world, call and tell them you’ll pay extra for basic TV if you want to!

I have Comcast Cable…no dish and the issues you all are having there…Last year I was able to get most all of the Thrashers games that were not televised locally on NHL Center Ice…Am I understanding correctly that this has changed and this year and games like tonight’s will be blacked out on Center Ice, even though Fox SS has no coverage…If so, what purpose does that serve…Fox SS has taken a pass on covering it…it is not a home game so they team should not be worried about having more fans show up at the arena. What gives?…If this is true, it is an injustice…To me this was an added benefit of paying the money for Center Ice…yes I like all the out of market games but we live in a market where 25% of the games aren’t available unlike most teams that broadcast all games locally. If it’s true, Center Ice you can have my subscription back! Stupid.

What I want is Thrashers games on Peachtree TV. Problem solved.
