No surprises in these roster moves. Sure wish there was a way to see those players other teams have on the waiver wire currently. Hopefully, Dudley is taking a close look at that and potential trades to make this team stronger.

I am beginning to wonder why Boris has not been given more pre-season games to play…….Could it be, as someone mentioned, that they are looking to trade him and don’t want other teams to see his rust?

If not, you would think they would give him more time to re-adjust at this level during pre-season games..

No Boris…that is a good thing.

Is Pavelec getting the start in goal?

hip – Ramsay sais the goalies would alternate starts, so I assume it is Pavs in goal tonight.

Lisin did not play in the first two games, is not on Chris’s roster list for tonight and was not cut. I find that set of facts interesting in an odd way. Does this mean Lisin has been singularly unimpressive? If so, why not cut him? Or does it mean that Dud/Ramsay don’t need to see him in the earlier pre-season games? I am guessing the latter, as he was a pretty fair winger for the Yotes and Rangers the last two seasons.

Interestiing, still no Lisin. Why keep him around? Insurance protection against further injuries in camp?

No real surprises on that list, none of them looked all that good. with the number of veterans being signed in the last month not much room for tryout during the beginning of season…

hmmm…yeah, that may be it, Smoothie. They can’t reassign him so why not keep him, I guess. I don’t really recall him getting mentioned in the reports on the scrimmages.

As I tweeted earlier, Ondrej Pavelec gets the start in goal and will, most likely, play the entire game.

Still no further word on Slater. Antropov practiced today, but will not make the trip to Nashville.

I will post another blog later following practice interviews.

Smoothie… it’s gotta be injuries. It is strange he hasn’t played yet. But, Ramsay probably wants to give the kids the ‘first look’, before deciding on vets.

One more good game from Burmistrov or Stewart and you’ll probably see Lisin shipped off.
