Ugh, hated to miss that one…once again, unavailable through GameCenter online. Interesting that the last two away games were blocked, but tonight’s home game appears to be offered.

EOB, I believe you mentioned you’re away for the holiday, so I’m guessing you won’t be at tonight’s game…correct?

Hokie, that’s 10G, 13A, for 23-points in 22 games for Finny. I have to agree with you. He’s becoming a clutch guy for Atlanta. Although, I do recall him missing a mostly open net as time was ticking down in one earlier game. But that’s now more of the “exception, than the rule” for Max Afinogenov, as a Thrasher. Let’s see, in mid-January, if he’s still being a “point-a-game” player. I think he’s got a good shot at it.

I wonder what Carolina GM, Jim Rutherford, is thinking right about now? It’s never good to lose games at home. But it’s especially WORSE to lose games, AT HOME, during a HOLIDAY, when you’re the LAST PLACE team in the NHL, and you couldn’t even SALVAGE A POINT from a THREE (3) GOAL LEAD (4-1) heading into the third period. Against a division rival. Whoo-boy. Is Paul Maurice about the get the “ax?” Any moment now, Sage of Bluesland will appear to announce Paul Maurice as the next Coach the Thrashers got fired. Remember his, “The Threat is Real” T-shirts? Every time the Thrashers beat a team, and that coach subsequently got fired, he writes the Coach’s name down on the back of the shirt, adding the date of death to it. The front of the T-shirt says, “The Threat is Real.” The back of the T-shirt reads, “Lose to us … and you WILL get fired.” In fairness to the Sage, that T-shirt was born amidst the Curt Fraser era of the franchise, very early into Waddell’s Administration. Which is now in its 11th year and 10th season. Could this be the year that Waddell banks a playoff win? Even if it isn’t, he is, eventually, going to win a playoff game for this franchise. I truly believe that. When it happens, not IFF, I’ll gaze at my calendar, rub my chin, and say, “Well, I knew this day would come. I just thought it’d be a whole lot SOONER than this.” But it will, nonetheless, feel good.

Smoothie, I was just going to say the same thing. Here's the post I typed before hitting refresh- Russian, I think we do have to go back to the original Russian line, not the new "ov" Russian line. Here are the lines for the 4 comeback goals tonight, goals in bold and assists in italics. 2g Koz-Ant-Lit 3g Kov-Ant-Max 4g Kov-Ant-Max 5g Kan-Pev-Lit Perhaps: Kov-Ant-Max Kan-Pev-Lit Koz-Wht-Arm White & Kozlov both picked up points tonight too, so hopefully even that 3rd line can do something? I hope this is a sign that Little might be turning it around, he looked lost in the 1st.

We can’t do this against Philly tomorrow night, even without Nittymaki now. If they do, they will have to wear the maroon jerseys in the first then swtich to the blue jerseys in the 2nd or 3rd to let us know when the other team shows up.
