Seriously though, Popovic played his arse off and you could tell Bogosian was told to play it much closer to the vest and not take so many chances. Well, it payed off I suppose, but thank God for our tiny Enstromboli diving down from the point to slam one home on the sage feed from Marty “the Party” Reasoner…my hero. :sigh:

Brendan, I didn’t take that as a knock on Buffalo, facts are facts, they lost 4-1. Thanks for clarifying that Kane and Pavelec AREN’T the culprits, I was ready to jump on you until I read your next post I don’t think the Sabres go after Biron though. If they didn’t want him for nothing in free agency, why give up a pick/prospect in a trade for the exact same player? Lalime is on the team, but Enroth is the young guy they drafted about 2-3 years ago so why not give him the occasional game instead of Lalime who is a career backup at this point and no chance to move forward. This gives Enroth ~20 games a year to develop at the big level.

Smoothie, at first I was dead set against your suggestion because I don’t think Crabb and those other guys are going to do much in the big league. But on second thought you might be right because 1 or 2 games in the pressbox might be what some of these guys need to get fired up. If only JA would see it your way now, then it might happen.

Putting Kari on IR so we can do that would be the logical next step if that is what happens with the callups, but to do it without the intent of calling those other guys up doesn’t make sense, so again you need JA to buy into your plan of benching Kozlov/White/etc. to get the message to them first before you put Kari on IR.

Game’s starting soon but I will watch it in full later on DVR. If I fast forward over commercials and intermissions I will probably end at the same time anyway.

Time to shake things up a bit by calling up a couple of young hungry Wolves like Spencer and Crabb or Kozek. They cannot play any less inspired than Kozlov, White and even Armstrong.

Put Kari on IR officially so you can carry 14 fwds and 7 D-men and 2 goalies. Time to send a msg about heart and determination. Hell, bring up Crabb and Gratton and knock some heads!

I’m sick of these gutless loafers playing without any sense of urgency! Your best player is hurt so step up and raise your game!

Gratts – White – Thor

Send Slater to Chicago to get his act together and make Boults sit in the presser with Salmela. I’d sit Kozlov but he’s still valuable on the 2nd unit PP.

Re-work the D- pairings to give Bogo some vet “protection” with Hainsey. Let Kubina play with Enstrom and hope that Pops can keep the mistakes to a min with Schubert.

Time to Slater to GO AWAY, he stinks, same for Slava and White and Little, they are TERRIBLE. Starting to wonder about Anderson, team looking like the coaching staff has lost them. NO desire to win, we are a very very SOFT team and I am now 1000%, correct one thousand percent
positive #17 will be gone with the wind after another LOSING season under the leadership of THE WORST GM in the history of professional sports, Stupid, Dumb, Liar don waddell, he needs to be run out of town on a rail. If this team moves and that seems more likely now, HE is the Main reason why. He had done everything to destroy professional hockey in Atlanta, What year plan now “don”, playoffs Yaeh Right, I just hope we don’t end up with the #1 pick in the draft, because it would be wasted like all the others and the only GOOD one will leave this train
wreck after this his final losing season here….. Last night showed everyone how really bad we are !

Oh well, I have nothing left for this team anymore–they are dead to me…Thanks, ownership, for your uncaring attitude to keep the ultimate loser in a position of power for over a decade now…

All of the problems start at the top–with ownership. They don’t deserve anything…I stopped subsidizing this egregious incompetence a long time ago.

Now, this team is limited to a chuckle or two as I read the box-score and limited article in the AJC, and then I move on…

I hope heartless Thrashers enjoy Hamilton! That is a lie. I hope they freeze their untalented a$$es off! Hope all you damn apologists savored another close loss. Check that!
