Buffalo also would have gained a point on Carolina, with 3.5 better played seconds. Todd White spoke German, "Nein!"

Marty Reasoner also scored a pretty big 2nd goal for Atlanta. Umm, has Reasoner been re-signed yet? No? We're waiting on that ... because why? We don't OWN his rights? We're not permitted to talk to him??? Help me out, here.

Who the Hell are these guys? What have they done with the Thrashers? The netminder who choked away three goals in a pitiful second period becomes super goalie in the third period, overtime and shootout? A Thrasher tally in the final seconds to force overtime? Another shootout win? The winning streak was swirling down the toilet toward inevitable oblivion only to miraculously climb all the way out of the bowl? I do not know what is happening here. WHATEVER IT IS I LIKE IT! I am totally speechless. That does not happen very often! WOW.

I guess T.Bay made a heckuva comeback on Florida. NY Islanders lost, in the battle for the ping pong balls. I think Colorado plays later tonight. Ottawa won. Toronto beat Calgary, 8-6, in a "defense optional" game.

BRETT STERLING!!!!! The call up! Ranallo's "choice." Sterling wins it for Atlanta. Wow. This really hurts Buffalo. Had they held on, for those last 3.5 seconds, they would have gained a point on Pittsburgh and Florida, plus 2-points on the NY Rangers.

Say it with me, "ouch."

Hey, Thrashers are 5-0-0 in their last five games, including 3-0-0 on this road trip. Sans Kovalchuk, in the Edmonton and Buffalo games.

Play the kids. Youth movement. Make them gel. Grow their confidence. Develop the prospects. These are the things that this seasons was meant to do. And reload in the lottery draft.

Correction, Ottawa won via shootout over Pittsburgh. Panthers-Bolts are in the shootout now. As are the Capitals and 'Canes. As are the Thrashers and Sabres.

Todd White scored with 3.5 seconds left, to force overtime. Atlanta is now 4-0-1, at worst, pending the outcome of overtime, in its last five games. Buffalo led, 3-1, after 2 periods. A loss here, for Buffalo, would be very difficult for them, and their playoff hopes. Especially with the Flyers defeating the NY Rangers in regulation time, and the Ottawa Senators rallying from down, 3-1, after 2 periods, to win, 4-3, in overtime. Yeah, the Penguins got a point in that effort. But Pittsburgh definitely left a point on the table, against on a non-playoff bound team, at home, with a 2-goals lead. So, Buffalo really, really needs this bonus point. Tampa Bay and Florida are headed to a shootout. Carolina and Washington are tied, 4-4, with just seconds left in OT, before the shootout. All these "3-point games," at the late stages of the playoff run. It's tough. Capitals and Hurricanes are now headed to the shootout.

Damn it to Hell! I knew the true Kari Letemin would eventually resurface. A 1-0 lead deteriorates into a 3-1 deficit thanks to three marshmallow whiff jobs that my grandma could have stopped. Way to go you untalented Finn piece of crap! No excuse for that shet. The feel-good winning streak is down the damn toilet! Against a bunch of wimps who have packed it in this season. At least LaLa Land Boy is back. Whoop-de-do. Absolutely pathetic! Damn. Just...damn!
