What have they done with the Thrashers? The netminder who choked away three goals in a pitiful second period becomes super goalie in the third period, overtime and shootout? A Thrasher tally in the final seconds to force overtime? Another shootout win? The winning streak was swirling down the toilet toward inevitable oblivion only to miraculously climb all the way out of the bowl? I do not know what is happening here. WHATEVER IT IS I LIKE IT! A loss here, for Buffalo, would be very difficult for them, and their playoff hopes. Especially with the Flyers defeating the NY Rangers in regulation time, and the Ottawa Senators rallying from down, 3-1, after 2 periods, to win, 4-3, in overtime. Yeah, the Penguins got a point in that effort. But Pittsburgh definitely left a point on the table, against on a non-playoff bound team, at home, with a 2-goals lead. So, Buffalo really, really needs this bonus point. Tampa Bay and Florida are headed to a shootout. Carolina and Washington are tied, 4-4, with just seconds left in OT, before the shootout.
