Shop for the Cause

Many local Atlanta retailers and restaurants are showing support for Breast Cancer Awareness  by offering goods and services with some or all of the proceeds going to Breast Cancer organizations. Nordstrom Fits America campaign provides complimentary bra fittings and will donate $1 of every bra purchase at fittings, with participating bra manufacturers also pitching in $1. Caribou Coffee donates ten percent of retail sales. Village Tavern in Alpharetta will offer glasses and bottles of both red and white wine, and 50 percent of all proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research.  HoneyBaked Ham will replace its iconic gold foil with pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and on Fridays, participating stores will offer buy one, get one free lunches for customers wearing pink who come in with a friend. LOFT is donating 25% of the ”live in pink” limited edition collection featuring skirts, tops and accessories. Finish out the month with a shopping trip to Cumberland Mall and note the fountain, dyed pink for the entire month of October. All coins collected from the fountain will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Sport pink in stylish support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month during October by wearing the Kohl’s Cares Tek Gear collection. Shop tees and tanks to hats and shorts. Each piece of the Tek Gear collection designed exclusively by Kohl’s is available for only  each! Similar styles start at $20 and up. 100 percent of the net profit is being donated to support the fight against breast cancer. Pamper yourself and save $10
This month, get pampered for spreading breast cancer awareness at Spa Sydell. In celebration of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Spa Sydell will be offering $10 off of any pedicure to breast cancer walk participants during the month of October. North Georgia Premium Outlets are teaming with Susan G. Komen to support breast cancer awareness. During the month of October, shoppers can visit the on-site Information Center to donate $10 to benefit Komen. For each donation of $10 or more, shoppers will receive a special savings card filled with “25% off one single item” offers from select stores.
