Dahlonega Wine Trail Weekend 2013

images-1-300x113No need to hop a plane to California, France or Italy to savor award-winning wines.  Dahlonega is home to Georgia’s own highly acclaimed wine country.  If you have never experienced Georgia wines, now is your chance to enjoy a weekend of tastings for one low price of only $25 during the 2nd Annual Dahlonega Wine Trail passport event. The passport is an excellent value compared to the regular cost of wine tasting which varies from winery to winery, but on average is $8-$20 per person. The Wine Trail weekend price of $25 for the Passport includes festivities, tastings and a souvenir glass.The tour begins at the Dahlonega Visitors Center, Public Square, Dahlonega, GA, then tours five wineries, Frogtown Cellars, Three Sisters Vineyards and Winery, Montaluce Winery & Estates, Wolf Mountain Vineyards and Winery, Cavender Creek Vineyards & Winery.
Saturday August 17th 12:00 noon – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 18th   12:30 p.m. –  5:00 p.m.  Passports are available at the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Visitors Center on the Dahlonega Public Square.
