Ever wonder why retailers like TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Ross are called off price stores? They sell merchandise that you don’t see in major department stores and they also benefit by scoring ordering mistakes or cancelled orders from major retailers. TJ Maxx is under the parent company that also owns Homegoods and Marshalls making it the largest off price retailer. Most of what they sell is at least 50% off what you would pay in a department store. To appeal to the higher end brand shopper, TJ Maxx has included a section called Runway at Maxx in select stores. Labels include designers such as D&G, Valentino, Prada and a range of designer denim. Recent finds include Jimmy Choo shoes for $200, retail $699, BCBG leather flats $20, retail $98, Prada Handbag $300 retail $900 and designer denim for $99 or less, retail $150. Visit TJMaxx.com to find Runway at Maxx locations near you.
