As you continue your holiday shopping this year take note of all of the ways you can make purchases while giving back – two gifts in one!

One store in particular making a huge effort toward charity this year is Macy’s.  They’ve declared this Friday, December 10th National Believe Day – as such, they’re inviting kids to drop off their letters to Santa in one of their Believe mailboxes that can be found in any Macy’s store. For every letter sent through the mailboxes, $1 will be donated to the Make-A-Wish foundation up to $1 million.

There is even a custom website for kids to create their letter to Santa…filled with lots of magic to make the experience really special.  After you create your letter, you can also check out Macy’s Charity Ornaments which benefit causes ranging from A Heart for Haiti to Breast Cancer Awareness .
