Have you heard of Etsy.com? Internet shoppers know this site for its vintage and handmade items. You can find almost anything you want or need online—from vintage jewelry to arts and crafts and other knickknacks.
The real joy in shopping at Etsy is finding all these one-of-a-kind items that you will never find in your neighborhood mall. That’s because all items are either vintage or, most notably, handmade. Absolutely no mass production here. So if you’re a shopper on the hunt for truly unique finds, then Etsy is the place for you.
If you are creative and enterprising, you can also find a home in Etsy. You can sell your masterpieces and “set up shop” in the site. But again, remember: you can only sell handmade, supplies, and vintage.
I personally love the creative community that Etsy has established online. And it is a very active community that continues to grow. Just browse the site and you’ll be inspired by the imagination and artistry—but you’ll also most likely be picking up an item or two. Enjoy!
