Q- Are sequins in or out for Spring?

A – In!  A lot of people are quick to label sequins as nighttime wear, but the way to wear sequins now is to actually relegate them from formal, chi-chi events to more casual, I’m-wearing-sequins-for-day-so-what looks.

So now you’ll see sequined tops paired with a denim mini skirt. Or a sequined cardigan with a floral dress and flats. Like this champagne number from Anthropologie, Lenox Square, $128

Of course, you can still wear sequins at night; that is, after all, when they’re most effective—they literally add more sparkle to your look.  But remember to wear one sequined piece—not two and definitely not more than two.
