Q- What are some of your favorite shoe trends for Spring?

The wedge always comes back for Spring/Summer, so I never get rid of mine. Though this season’s version has a lot more attitude: it’s a wedge-slash-boot (or a boot with a wedge). Just take a look at the Margiela pair from Saks— hot with shorts and dresses!!

Another shoe with a lot of attitude is the open-toe ankle boot. It’s amazing how a little detail like the peep-toe can magically transform the ankle boot into something more feminine!

Of course platforms are still strong for Spring; they work really well with this seasons floral trends. Pick platforms in the brightest hues, particularly orange-red. If you’re not in the mood for bold color, then go the polar opposite: nude. Shoes in nudes or neutrals, whether they’re pumps, platforms, or sandals, are strong this season.
