Skate your way through the holidays

Celebrate the cold weather by visiting the new Ice Rink  at the St. Regis in Buckhead.  The recent opening is exciting news for all you wanna-be figure skaters who want to show off your front crossover.   As Georgia’s only hotel ice skating destination, The St. Regis Atlanta offers skating at their recently opened rink.  The Astor Holiday Rink will be open to all visitors and hotel guests from 12:00pm – 8:00pm daily throughout the month of December.

Skating sessions will start every hour, on the hour, and are not cheap - $30 per hour for adults and $15 per hour for children under 16.

Of course your less expensive skating option is Centennial Olympic Park.   Admission is $7 per person and skate rental is an additional $2 for 90 minutes of skate time.  The rink is open daily, including holidays, until Jan. 31, 2010. For extra savings, here is a coupon for free skate rental.
