New Kids on the Block team with 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men for tour

Do they still have the right stuff? Photo:

Get ready, ladies. The guys in New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men are bringing you their package(s) this summer.

The three ’80s-‘90s hitmakers are joining together for “The Package Tour,” launching May 31 and running through July 13.

The tour has a date penciled in for Philips Arena on June 20 (amusingly, the day before the current princes of teen heartthrob mania – One Direction – play the venue).

Tickets go on sale Feb. 2 (an American Express pre-sale begins Jan. 25) via Ticketmaster.

The tour is also cause for a new release from NKOTB, who performed a sizzling sold-out show at Philips with the Backstreet Boys in June 2011. The group will release “10” on April 2; first single, with the head-scratching title “Remix (I Like The),” arrives Jan. 28 on iTunes.

This is the first tour for 98 Degrees in 12 years. Nick Lachey noted that while the guys will concentrate on the hits, they’ll use the tour to try out some new material as well.

Meanwhile, Philly soulsters Boyz II Men, the best-selling R&B group in history, released the album “Twenty” in October 2011.

To xxx…that’s a horrible comment. I don’t care who you are or who you don’t like…noone has the right to wish that on someone else (or at least post it). Just because you do not like them doesn’t mean that other people are evil haters like you.

I am sooooo there! I think my 15 y/o daughter will probably want to go with me. She loves all of my “old” music.

When I think about all of the blockbuster R&B groups the fact the Boyz II Men has outsold all of them is amazing..The other groups are just white guys imitating black guys which for us who’ve seen the real thing is quite boring. But to their credit they make money and have sold a lot of records.~Yawn~

Obviously you care white chocolate..I’ve been a fan of rock and roll and R&B most of my life..That does not make make an expert but I’ve seen enough to know when someone imitating something that they are not. There is nothing racist about anything that I said..Since you’re more than likely a white guy who uses the the handle “Just sayin” it tells me why you’re offended.Google the word racist before you use it next time.

I wish BSB were on this one too, not a fan of 98 degrees but NKOTB and BIIM will put on an awesome show. I heard BIIM on the view the other day and they sound the exact same, such beautiful harmonies.
