[I'm on with my rock 'n' roll pal Kaedy Kiely at 97.1 The River every Wednesday at 6:50 and 7:50 a.m. to talk about the latest rock news. Tune in to hear what's up!]

Fleetwood Mac has not only confirmed a 2013 tour, but released the 34-dates for the latest reunion – their first since 2009.

The band’s tour launches in April and will play Philips Arena June 10, the second-to-last-date of the jaunt, which will feature Stevie Nicks, Lindsay Buckingham, Mick Fleetwod and John McVie. Keyboardist/singer Christine McVie retired from touring with the band in 1998.

Nicks has spoken about a Mac return a lot lately, even mentioning that the band has recorded a pair of new songs that might make it to the live set list.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 17.

Also with an Atlanta date is the double bill of Rod Stewart and Steve Winwood. Their “Live the Life” tour is only playing nine cities, including Atlanta April 28, also at Philips Arena. Ticket information for that date hasn’t been released yet, but tickets for earlier dates on the tour, which starts April 10 in Chicago, are in the $40-$160 range.

My favorite vocalist (who I can imitate quite well), my favorite group, and all my favorite songs!! What more could a woman ask for in the entertainment world?! Except maybe to be front row center when they hit the Bay Area!!!

But alas, at my income level, that will never be :(

nice shows. But I really dont like what Rod Stewart has become. He’s in the rock and roll HOF…but all he sings now is cover songs and XMAS tunes.

Steve, Rod is coming out with a new cd this Spring of all new original songs that he wrote or co-wrote. First one since Spanner in the Works, 1995. Cant wait.

Very disappointed thet Christine McVie has retired from touring. Not quite the same without her.

@modrod,
You’re kidding, right? The guy who refused the Faces reunion? The guy who was in the best-of-its- time garage rock band is so far from that now as to be 100%, inarguably LAME. Hey, I am as surprised as anyone that he is coming out with 11 self-penned songs. I mean, his best records had songs not written by him as a rule. But it won’t be anything special, and the show will bog down in the soft pop miasma that his career has become. I know there’s a lot of people who don’t get how great Stewart was back in the day – and he was great – but he doesn’t have it in him to come out with a great rock band & blow your doors off like he did with the Faces (who I saw in 74 & 75). Even his early solo shows in the later 70’s, early 80’s were fairly good. But now? Not close, not close by a country comfort mile. Two huge thumbs down.

TD, valid points indeed. My comment “cant wait” was about the new CD, since it has been 17 years since he has come out with original material. I have seen Stewart over 50 times, including a weeks worth of shows at old Wembly Arena in London. Trust me, I know it ain’t the same as many years before, but then again what is. Dude will be 68 by the time this show hits town.

Winwood, what the hell are you thinking? Rod was great w/ Jeff Beck and the Faces, but that was a looong time ago.
