Good news if you missed the Dave Matthews Band outdoors at Lakewood Amphitheatre this summer – they’ll head inside to the Gwinnett Arena on Dec. 11.
The band is touring behind its recently released “Away from the World,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart last month and will embark on a month-long winter tour of the East Coast that launches Nov. 30 with two nights at the IZOD Center in New Jersey.
A presale for members of the DMB Warehouse Fan Association begins at 10 a.m. Thursday at www.warehouse.davematthewsband.com and Citi credit card holders can participate in a presale beginning at noon on Monday (visit www.citiprivatepass.com for details).
Tickets for the general public go up at 10 a.m. Oct. 19 and are priced from $55-$85.

The new release sounds like vintage DMB. They’re simply awesome. Critics who dislike them are simply jealous of DMB’s success just like Don Henley, Journey or Billy Joel.

Wonder what station will promote the concert with DaveFM going by the wayside? Heck, wonder what station will play their music, except for Star 94 playing the occasional 90s cut.

I hate Gwinnett Arena too. Friendly staff, free parking, smaller venue and zero chance of being a crime victim there. Oh the humanity!

Love DMB and it’s exciting to get to see them again this year! Agree with my name twin Brock… Gwinnett Arena is a much better place to see a concert than some place smack in the middle of Atlanta or at Lakewood (so… meh…).
