Laura Story won the first of her five Dove Award nominations when “Blessings” scored Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year.

Story, a worship leader at Perimeter Church in Johns Creek, beat fellow Atlantans Jamie Grace Harper and Francesa Battistelli for this particular trophy during the pre-show for the Christian music awards, being handed out right now at the Fox Theatre.
