So You Think You Can Dance Season #8 winner, Marietta native Melanie Moore, performs for her hometown fans at the Gwinnett Arena Tuesday night. This is the third stop for the 32-city tour. The ten dancers on tour are Caitlynn Lawson, Clarice Ordaz, Jess LeProtto, Jordan Casanova, Marko Germar, Melanie Moore, Mitchell Kelly, Ricky Jaime, Sasha Mallory and Tadd Gadduang.
AJC photographer Robb Cohen covered the event with his camera. Check out the photo gallery. What did you think of this year’s dancers and the performances? Who is your favorite dancer and why?

Great show, really showed the versatility of all of the dancers. A bit slow the the first half then it heated up.Georgia should be proud of both Melanie and Mitchell, they represented the peach state well. Awesome talent from our state!!!

We thought it was fantastic, fast-paced and not a dull moment. The only drawback were spotlights that shone directly in our eyes. Missed some parts because of that. We loved our little Georgia gal, of course, along with Mitchell. We came away impressed with Jess, who is a package of dynamite on stage. Ricky, who was superb in Twitch’s role, was another favorite of my wife. Overall, the entire cast danced their hearts out and we really enjoyed their efforts. Great show!
