Adele reschedules with fall Fox show

ADELE - 2011 Image 1British soul-pop sensation Adele has rescheduled the dates that she was forced to cancel this month when laryngitis sidelined her.

She’ll play The Fox Theatre Oct. 16 – a size upgrade from her previously planned show last week at The Tabernacle.

Those holding tickets from the Tabernacle show will be automatically refunded for their order and given access to an exclusive pre-sale July 8-15 to purchase premium tickets at the original price for the Fox show. Those ticket holders will be contacted directly by Ticketmaster with further instructions.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale at 10 a.m. July 22 at www.livenation.com, the Fox box office or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

In addition to making good on the canceled dates, Adele has added six additional tour stops to her itinerary, including Oct. 7 in Atlantic City, N.J., Oct. 8 in Durham, N.C., Oct. 13 in Orlando and Oct. 14 in Miami.

The singer’s sophomore album, “21,” has spent 10 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and sold more than 2 million copies since its release in February.

Wonderful news, and you were pretty quick reporting it too, so thanks. Fox is a great venue for Adele’s show and should please everyone. Those of us who have Tabernacle tix will soon have opportunity to trade up to some premium seats in the Fox, so they’ve done the right thing there.

What? What?

Thank you for reporting this, I’ve been wondering how they were going to resolve this. I think there is an error in your article though. The tickets for the Tabernacle show were through Live Nation and Ticketmaster typically handles all sales for the Fox. I think you have the wrong link for the ticket sales to the general public on July 22nd.

This is the best news I have received all day!!! Hate it for the Tabernacle but I am one of those fans who was a little frustrated because the concert sold out!!! Looking forward to buying my ticket!!!

Any clue how much tickets will be at the Fox? I do not see anything on their site. How much were they at the Tabernacle?

She’s okay but way overrated and overexposed. And yes, I have excellent taste in music.
