Jennifer Hudson postpones July 2 show at Chastain
Singer Jennifer Hudson was scheduled to bring her I Remember Me Tour to Chastain Park this July 4th weekend, but Ticketmaster sent out an email late Wednesday night to ticketholders saying that the show is being postponed.
According to the email, which gave no reason for the postponement, a new date will be announced soon.
If you already have tickets, those tickets will be honored once the new date is scheduled. Otherwise, ticketholders can request a refund through Ticketmaster.
The tour, which was set to kick off in San Diego on June 19, will feature Hudson with special guest Jazmine Sullivan and Miguel.

Let me tell you..if Jennifer know Anything about how damn HOT it gets here in July..she made the best choice. She should cancel until October. I had the Unfortunate experience of seeing Diana Ross last June 4, 2010..It was so damn Hot even Ross herself who was onstage commented ” I know you Guys are HOT out down there because its HOT up here! But like a true Diva she Turned the park UPSIDE DOWN and it was a memorable friday nite under the stars In HOT atlanta! but I doubt she will be back during June or July or August again. Not outside anyway.

Apparently, Hudson has postponed several stops on the tour, including Reno, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, New York, Boston, Toronto, and Washington, D.C. It’s likely that more cancellations are forthcoming.

I’m going to see her at the Essence Music Festival. I hope she doesn’t cancel that – it won’t be a good look. I’m also going to the Soul Beach Music Festival in Aruba where she is scheduled to perform. Perhaps she overdid it with her schedule because she’s ALSO going to be at Tom Joyner’s family reunion.

Saw Diana Ross also and it was hot that night. It did not seem to matter though after she started performing! She is a real world-class act in so many ways!

People please stop the maddness already. The lady is very busy, and we don’t know what has happen. Jhud loves the ATL. She have let that be known over and over again. I believe she will reschedule soon. Jen is in very high demands and have been since she stepped in the business. One of the most talented female vocalist in the industry. My husband and I are sad as well, but I am not going to talk down about her for postponing a concert.

Bring Diana Ross back! I saw Miss Ross on June 4, 2010 and she turned the place OUT! I enjoyed myself so much that it didn’t matter how hot it was, Ross did the fool!

Folks, Jennifer doesn’t handle her own scheduling…she has ppl for that. Cancellations are normal in the business, things come up, sometimes more lucrative deals for the artiste.
More in demand now due to Weight Watchers …just be happy for another sometimes.
