Robin Meade and Jim Brickman record salute to the troops
Robin Meade is a familiar face thanks to HLN’s “Morning Express with Robin Meade.” But the newscaster is also a graceful singer who has performed with Kenny Chesney and Richard Marx and co-written songs with Nashville names Victoria Shaw and Gary Burr.
Meade appears on Jim Brickman’s new album, “Home,” — available exclusively at Target — on the soaring ballad, “Welcome Home,” a tribute to the troops (Meade also steers HLN’s “Salute the Troops” segment).
On Saturday, Brickman performs at the Grand Opera House in Macon for a benefit for the Children’s Hospital.

Robin really doesn’t sound that bad. My question is if she were that great why isn’t Nashville calling? This talent is far better than watching her sitting reading the news and displaying her cleavage. She facilitated a panel show that was a total disaster. Stick with singing Robin and don’t let HLN use you as a sexist pawn. Sell yourself with your intelligent, talent, expertise not your cleavage/body. As you well know that will fade sooner than later and then how will you market yourself?

Robin’s voice is not that bad. Actually, she sounds pretty good. As good – or better – than most popular artists today. Plus, she looks a lot better. No strain on the eyes.
