IMG_5079

Alice in Chains, Deftones and Mastodon rocked Aaron’s Amphitheatre Tuesday night . The bands are currently on the “BlackDiamondSkye” tour. This is the final concert of the season at the Southside venue.

And while the AJC wasn’t there to review it, AJC photographer Robb Cohen was covering the show with his camera. Click here for the 19-photo online gallery. What do you think of this combination of bands? Who was your favorite? AliceInChains.0928AIMG_5904

Does anyone remember Madfly?

Enter your comments here Amazing show, went to see Alice in Chains who rocked the house with their energy, class and musical excellence as always! They are a legend for good reason, they are the best!

Chains tore it up. What a tight set. Great mix of old and new music. Jerry Cantrell is a very under rated guitarist. William Duvall is a good fit, though he doesn’t try to replace Layne. He seems to be having so much fun doing this. I hope we can look to the future for new cd’s and tours. Solid performance.

It was a great show! Alice in Chains sounded great! I was disappointed that Mastodon didn’t get to play longer. I was hoping the local boys would get more stage time. It was a good set though.
