Monica was amazing at the V-103 Soul Session last night! It feels great to say that MISS THANG is back and better than ever! The ball room setting was beautiful, perfect for the R&B diva. The audience consisted of fans and Monica’s family and celebrity friends. It was a full house.
Monica sang her favorites from the new album Still Standing and teased the crowd with a few songs from her previous albums. The crowd loved it!
My favorite part of Monica performance was the tribute to Whitney Houston that brought the entire room to their feet. An emotional Monica sang two Whitney songs to honor her dear friend.
The night closed with the performance of Everything to Me, which was beautiful.
Monica was then presented with a painting from V-103. She thanked the fans and her friends and family for allowing and helping her get to this level in her career. She was grateful and sincere.
Awesome event! Monica is a class act! A+
