It was nice to meet our cousin for the first time. He was terrific. His mom would be proud of him. I'm very happy we went. Can't wait till the next one.

I was glad Lenny played some of his old stuff. It was great to hear that again. I do wish that it had started earlier. I even called Liva Nation & the Tabernacle to see if there was an opening act & they both said no, the day before. I think most of us in the crowd have children with baby sitters at home, plus since most of us were adults, we needed to get up the next day! Not like 20 years ago!!! Thank goodness we had seats! I also don't understand why you couldn't purchase the VIP tickets online when we ordered the tickets originally, it was just general admission, but they had seats reserved.

It was great to see Lenny again though! I'll always go see him!!

I was not at the show but have seen many a show at the Tab. I will agree it is a great venue, but 8 out of 10 shows there the sound is horrible! the high ceilings make for an echo chamber. You need to check out some other venues before you go saying the sound is incredible in there. Venue - good, sound - not so good, there are better sounding venues.

Lenny rocked it. HOT HOT HOT. Just wish I knew he wasn't coming on until 9:30 PM, my dogs were shot from standing in one spot for nerarly 2 hours...I was starting to get cranky, but all was forgiven when he took the stage. I have to agree the trumpet solo wasn't my favorite part of the show but maybe if I had the option to sit during it I would have enjoyed it more. It was my first visit to the tabernacle, great venue but now I know to wear more comfy shoes. Sore feet couldn't keep me from dancing though. Thanks Lenny - you ARE the coolest man on the planet.

The last time I saw Lenny at the Tabernacle was the fall/winter of 1998, which will forever live on in my memory as the single greatest Lenny Kravitz concert ever (and I’ve seen him quite a few times)! 5 hadn’t quite become a “smash” success yet because the ‘chart history-making’ single Fly away wasn’t fully released yet…that happened shortly after this concert, which made Lenny a megastar. Where Are You Gonna Go My Way made him a superstar, Fly Away made him a “household name!” One could say that this was Lenny’s last moment before entering into “Mega-Super stardom,” and he did it here in Atlanta!

Which brings me to last night. In a lot of ways last night was like a Lenny homecoming for me. I firmly believe that the Tabernacle is one of the greatest concert venues out there; with its cozy, yet “rocked-out” setting and warm acoustics, it’s a perfect backdrop for someone of Lenny’s artistry and also supports the intimate relationship he has with his fans.

The concert started amazingly. Let Love Rule seemed an appropriate start, with a wondrously diverse crowd standing before him, he welcomed himself to Atlanta. From there he maneuvered through his impressive catalog of new and old favorites. Of course he highlighted his band (deservingly so), which at times seemed to drag (a la the trumpet solo), but with his never ending energy, amazing stage presence, bare-bones no frills display of talent, and his ‘good old-fashioned rock star stellar performance,’ Lenny once again, gave Atlanta a HELL of a show! Not to mention the impromptu jammed-out encore with hometown locals, such as Cee-lo Green.

My only disappointment: the damn thing was rescheduled! I requested off from my job a month in advance, with no way of changing it. Not knowing the show date had been changed, I got half-way there only to get a text from the friend meeting me there, that it wasn’t happening! But that’s what I get for not having network television or listening to the radio, other than the lovely NPR, of course! The next day, when friends asked how was the show? I sarcastically said “Lenny was Lenny…the show was great.” I know, I know, I know...I suck!

The show was truly amazing! Thanks Lenny, for reminding us that a great concert only needs instruments, a great band, and a remarkable artist to tie it all together…nothing more, nothing less!

I’d love to see Lenny do an all Acoustic Tour! Just the songs, the guitar, and Lenny! (I hope someone reads this that has the power to make this happen!).

Tokesan please, don't take your 11-year old to a rock concert when you know good & well Lenny will drop the F bomb in Mr. Cab Driver and between songs.

All in all a great show, The Tabernacle was great venue and Kravitz really finished strong!

Fantastic show. It rivaled the last time I saw him at the Tabernacle a few years back. All of the musicians in the band are top notch. The encore was great with the addition of Jermaine Dupree, Nelly, and Cee-Lo.

I'm afraid i have to agree with Elizabeth and Kurt. The first time i saw Lenny was probably 15 years ago and back then it was a simple 4 piece rock band. Last night was the same as last tour, i felt like i was at a show at a Vegas casino.
Maybe its is due to the fact that i just saw AC/DC and KISS as well as Robin Trower in the past few weeks that i am somewhat jaded. In my opinion Lenny needs to go back to the raw rock band formula.
