This was the first show I saw on this tour, followed by SF and Vegas (and then Berlin coming up in December). Bought all my tickets through the fan pre-sale. The seats sold through that outlet pretty much sucked -- I could have gotten better seats on general sale for the same price. For two of my four shows the Ticketmaster beast sold me tickets for seats that didn't exist. Literally. In Atlanta I ended up on the press row next to the photographer who took the shots above, which turned out to be interesting. (Hi Lisa) However, if any Pets management sees this -- PLEASE dump Ticketmaster next tour and go with a more fan-friendly service such as gigs-n-tours. It would have been nice had someone made an announcement about why the show was beginning so late. Now, all that said, the Pets can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. This was a right proper introduction to the show but it didn't hold a candle to the second night of San Francisco, front and center in general admission -- such euphoria being so close and in close quarters with other Petheads. See you in Berlin, mates!

I saw the Petties for the first time in Brighton on their Nightlife tour. I was in London for 4 years at that time and knew their manager at the time. So she gave me a backstage pass and I spoke to Neil before the show while he was getting ready. It was very surreal.
Now I'm back in South Africa waiting for them to follow the likes of Robbie Williams and the Killers doing a show in SA.
Please guys, give it good think.............

And Robert, I get your leaving after the first 25 minutes, it starts out slowly (most of the newer material) - but if you would have stuck around, you would have had a very entertaining evening.

Saw the show last Friday in Orlando - having seen the 1990 Performance tour, I must say it doesn't hold a candle to that (few things do), but after a slow start, the PSB's got rolling big time. Few notes: should have played Opportunities and What Have I Done (To Deserve This) - 2 HUGE hits and both were MIA. The fact that the DJ played until 9:30 was an issue but the larger issue is what the guy was playing; the dullest and most direction-less house music. Play some euphoric trance, get the audience going, not put them to sleep. Heck even some Deadmau5 music would be preferred. Overall, very visual, colorful performance that closes out with one of the greatest pop songs in the history of recorded music - not bad at all.

I WISH I had been there and watch the Concert being performed outdoor! And those who followed the Pet Shop Boys on Twitter received a message that the show had to be delayed until dark due to the projection issue - it would not have shown when there is still daylight. Hence the performance delay.

But I had personally watched this show twice in the East Coast, and once it had to be delayed by about 45 minutes due to projection issue also. It did NOT diminish my fondness for the Show and the Pet Shop Boys.
