A tight-lipped Woody on the sideline, glaring and refusing to adjust ANYTHING. Prediction: Hawks reserves seeing time in the recent past will not see anything at all until the game is “out of reach.”

Meanwhile Woody defenders will call any production from said reserves “garbage time stats.”

For those not missing Marvin Williams, today’s game will feature another interesting matchup at the 3. Lucky for us Josh Smith split time on a cold-shooting Nowitzki last game, as I recall he hardly had to leave the floor when shooting against the much smaller Mo Williams. Let’s see how Mo holds his own against the bigger and more physical Lebron. At least he hustles hard as he can.

Meanwhile, what will we get out of Mike Bibby….on either end of the floor?

Sorry about that. Fact is, Ando said he had to get home, his kitchen pass was almost up. Me, I wasn’t spending the night anywhere in the ATL and had plenty of energy left. I spanked the V8 in my SuperCrew all the way back to the SAV. Made it in 3 1/2 hours.

It was great meeting you, and hope for more meetings this season.

They’re very nice seats. But I can tell you that nobody needs to be that close to tell if Dirk Nowitzki brushed HIS teeth. The size of them there things! They should nickname him David CHOPPERfield….

OK–I saw Bo Ryan, coach of Wisconsin, doing the Soulja Boy on ESPN First Take. THAT was entertaining. I guess coaching in college keeps you young.

Good to meet Ray & Sautee (and Mrs. S.) yesterday.

I didn’t see you guys after the game. Understand after seeing the Sekou comments. After wandering through TacoMac for a few, I ended up at Stats to watch the rest of the NCAA action.

Before the game, I did learn some interesting guidelines about glassware, TacoMac, & Philips Arena. They need to tweak some policies before the glass mafia figures out how to expose some inconsistencies. I could imagine bad things with the Hocky crowd, given their love of brawls.

I also learned that Ando would QB the intramural football team and throw the ball to himself all while making me look like the late years of Ray Buchannon’s NFL career. Good thing we didn’t go to the same school. I would hate to be known as the guy that locked him down by Krazy Glue-ing his shoes together

I noticed that there were lots of free samples of some energy drinks outside after the game. I wonder if that is an effort to get the crowd more animated? It could work if they gave them out before the game, BUT, they won’t let you take the alumnimum containers inside. All that chugging large quantities of energy drinks to get inside would have lots of fans in the restroom instead of cheering.

But they would be more energetic.
