For all the Chris Paul and Brandon Roy debates. I offer this one comment/opinion. As we know, Hawks did have a chance to draft both guys but I believe we only had an opportunity to draft (in which we did) one of the following guys: Paul, Roy, or Horford. If we would have drafted Paul then I don't think we would have been in a position to draft Roy like wise for Horford had we had drafted Roy. So the question is, who would you rather have Paul, Roy, or Horford?????

Thanks for the props. And I agree, by all means explore some trades. But gotta get X out of the building first...

WTF .......Ray is a journalist now...... Good article - Horford and Marvin are our sf/pf of the fiture, dont know where that leaves josh......Maybe trade bait in the summer. I dont care what JS does the remainder of the season and playoffs we should look into trades this summer for a big man. This show has run its course. X can kick rocks as well

Ando,

YOU brought up our last visit, not me. Now you go to the ultra lame come back because I produced facts that you were full of it.

I think you are more likely candidate for the Crack is Whack reality show.

Try to pick on someone that will fold when you drop long posts.

Feeble Arguments Intimidate Losers, that's FAIL.

Manny, seriously, the only thing in need of checking is your reality. Are you really trying to make a major point on an indifferent post from a month ago? Do you really have nothing better to do with your time than peruse blog archives, looking for a meaningless flaw in my logic? Heck man, you'd get more mileage if you started trumpeting my incorrect prediction that Bibby would be traded. I don't care if it was PAUL McCartney that was brought up on the blog. Doesn't change how bad Billy's decision to draft Marvin was. And since YOU brought it up, it doesn't change the fact that the damage he inflicted on the franchise, by following up the Paul disaster with the Shelden-instead-of-Roy pick was literally exponential.

Hollinger has a recent PER article discussing Roy's position as the #7 rated player in the NBA. Say what you will (and there are enough odd, second-team names, sprinkled into the upper ranges of his rankings, based on productivity-per-minute projections to highlight the outliers), but if there's strong statistical, not to mention actual all-star recognition/performance, support that both Paul and Roy are 2 of the TOP 10 players in the NBA right now, I can't see how anybody can try and delude themselves that taking Marvin and Shelden, over two of the best players in the league wasn't a crippling series of decisions.

I don't know how that's spin, but why don't you tell me some more about how Billy was a better GM than I give him credit for......

Shoot Manny, looks to me like I should buy you another hit of crack, because beer can't possibly take you to the far away places you're visiting these days.
