Is it really necessary to now start scheduling college football games on Sunday? Are the schools that desperate for the money? Remember the good ol days when Friday nights were for high school and all day Saturday was college, college, college.

completely agree with you. I probably watch too much t.v. myself during college football season, but i agree that money has left nothing sacred anymore.

I’m scared this may be the beginning of the end for my lifetime of college ball. The SEC and all other conferences as well have sold their souls to and joined the ESPN owned, managed and operated league. Play-offs are the beginning of the “new way”. If ESPN doesn’t want it, it will not be permitted. I fear what the future brings. It’s going to look and smell like the NFL.

They have been playing college football games on the Sunday of Labor Day for 10 + years. Glad to see all you “experts” are so on top of the game! You see the NFL starts he following week. WOW!

Thank you Poulie for pointing out the obvious.
Why would the 3 biggest games be played at the same time? ALA vs WVA, Ark, vs Auburn, And Clemson vs UGA

Bill, in recent years, Kentucky has routinely played Louisville on Sunday the first week of the season. Once the NFL season starts, there will be no major college games played on Sundays. Oh yeah, Directv better be getting the SEC Network or KOOL’ll be going to Dish or U-verse.

Clemson 45, dwags 31

A big beatdown, followed by SC for the knockout punch!

Dawgs go 7-5 this year with a likely bowl loss again, with UGA continuing the long downward slide into mediocrity and irrelevance. As always, Richt has no clue how to turn things around.
