One of the Florida Gators’ best-known fans is ripping into the team after its stunning 33-23 loss to Louisville in the Sugar Bowl Wednesday night.
Chipper Jones took to Twitter to express the frustration that many Gator fans are feeling after watching Florida fall behind 24-3 in the first half and 33-10 in the second half before falling 10 points short in a late comeback attempt.
“Never seen a more undisciplined football team in my life. As a life long UF fan, that was embarrassing,” Jones wrote Thursday.
And then: “I can handle getting beat, but to show ur [fannies] in front of the whole country? Sure hope the inmates ain’t running the asylum down there!”

I can’t begin to tell you guys how stoked I was to see the Greatest Gator of All Time,Tim Tebow, our hero and Heisman winner, on the sidelines last night.
I thought once he delivered the halftime speech we could come back and win but those bogus referees called some cheap penalties on us for the kickoff.
Regardless, 11-2 was a great season and we hung in there with everybody but Georgia.

Gotta love the teckmites on here claiming victory. Also, how the ACC is the better conference. Cincy, Louisville are not in the ACC yet. That’s this coming season. Y’all should be worried because there goes any chance of only being one game under .500 and petition to go to the toilet bowl again.
Silly Nerds!

“As Taylor Martinez said, Nebraska was clearly better than Georgia but somehow the Mutts squeaked one out.”
Huh? they got beat down by 2 TDs. It should have been three. This just shows your an idiot.
That is really funny. Thanks for the laugh.

The commitment of Orlando safety Marcel Harris have moved the Gators 2013 class into the No. 1 spot, according to ESPN’s recruiting rankings.
The Gators moved ahead of USC, with Alabama, Notre Dame and Michigan behind the Gators and Trojans.

The Gators turned the ball over three times and finished minus-2 in turnover margin. The worst one came on the game’s first offensive play when Driskel’s throw was behind Debose, who got a hand on the ball and tipped it into the air. Terell Floyd picked it off and returned it 38 yards for a touchdown. That fired up the Cardinals, shocked the Gators, and set the tone for the rest of the game.

Lack of discipline: The Gators committed nine penalties for 98 yards. Five were personal fouls, facemasks, or unsportsmanlike conduct. The most costly came on the second-half kickoff, when Loucheiz Purifoy and Chris Johnson were each penalized for personal fouls and Johnson was ejected from the game for throwing a punch. UF also committed two penalties inside the red zone on offense that cost the Gators a chance at a touchdown. It was a surprising lack of discipline from a team that had been composed all season.

Pass coverage: Florida has been one of the nation’s top teams against the pass all season (No. 1 in pass efficiency defense in the regular season), but the Gators apparently forgot how to cover during the break. UF’s DBs got turned around and confused and had trouble playing the ball. Louisville receivers were wide open, especially in the middle of the field and in the flats. The Gators played more zone than they have in any other game this season and looked lost.

Timmy Gator is right. It wasn’t our fault. It was 1 play and cheap penalties. Other than these 2 things we would have killed Louisville.
We are # 1 because of our recruiting class by ESPN, enough said.
Gator No Shows
January 3rd, 2013

The only thing more eye-popping than Florida’s no-show performance in its 33-23 Allstate Sugar Bowl loss to Louisville was how many Florida fans no-showed for the game.
Jon Solomon of The Birmingham News has a story on overall bowl attendance being down 5 percent this season, and it was most glaring in New Orleans on Wednesday night. The Sugar Bowl’s announced crowd of 54,178 was the game’s worst since 1939, and the smallest ever for a BCS bowl.
In other words, don’t expect to see the Gators back on Bourbon Street any time soon if the Sugar Bowl has anything to do with it. Florida reportedly sold about 7,000 tickets of its 17,500 allotment. Louisville sold about 15,000.

Gators are Garbage. Actually its single malt, thank you very much, and I’m only on # 1. I like the steamroll post. That’s fans and football. I just can’t stand these immature twerps. But again for the “steamroll”, it just isn’t going to happen. Once ND defeated OK and Stanford, the stage was set for a return to football normalcy that has been missing for 20 years. All the southern teams are alike. They are big, fast, and good, but DUMB. ALA is about to play a team that’s smart and can access and modify on the fly. It will be a shock for the ALA players though Saban knows what’s coming. I promise you he isn’t getting much sleep. Expect it to be close, but the Irish will prevail, and the world will be right again..

Florida looked so bad that I expected to see Gene Chizik coaching them on the sidelines.
Muschamp was right, he did not have them ready. If he had them ready they still would have lost. Louisville was simply the better team.
Looks like Florida hired the wrong defensive coordinator for their head coach. They should have kept Charlie Strong and promoted him. Oh well, too late now.
As for Tech finding restored glory, what glory is there in a 6-7 team getting special permission to go to a second rate bowl in El Paso to play a team without its starting QB and with a freshman QB trying to lead a team that does not even want to be there. You could tell Lane Kiffin did not want to be there. Hid behind his shades in a hoodie and showed no emotion or interest as he sent in another play. He was probaby talking to his agent on his cellphone during most of the game lining up the next program he is going to sink. What a worm.

A Braves player should never, ever be criticizing anyone else’s postseason peformance. And a man who can’t stop himself from cheating on one wife after another shouldn’t be preaching anyone on discipline either.

How do you make Gator Cookies?
Take 2200 lbs. of gator meat. Put it in a big mixing bowl. Pour some sugar in it. Beat it thoroughly for three hours.
Lay flat to dry the remaining tears.
It is delicious.

You know what Chipper is just stating what everybody else is scared to do because we may offend someone or we may not get that bigtime recruit. Florida is just another program that is turning their heads and looking the other way so they won’t make a recruit mad. All the long hair, white and black, the nasty tattoos, all the jawing and showboating, especially after making a tackle and your team still getting their butts kicked si sickening. I am as big a Dawg fan and Coach Richt fan as anybody but the UGA team is embarrassing the way they look, especially their long hair, and their discipline needs to improve even though this group did improve during the year. Man it was great watching Rice and the Air Force Academy play football the way it should be played.

As far as the Sugar Bowl, Florida is still recovering from the mess that Urban Meyer left. He recruited many of these undisciplined guys and that is really why he left. He got tired of dealing with them.

I’ve heard more meaningful color commentary from a Hooters waitress. Hell.
