UGA’s Rambo: “I feel like we’re more talented (than Alabama)”
One of UGA’s veteran defenders has provided some of the first bulletin board material of the week in advance of Saturday’s SEC Championship showdown between the Bulldogs and Alabama.

UGA safety Bacarri Rambo went on ESPN radio after Saturday’s blowout win over Georgia Tech and said some words that will surely get the attention of Nick Saban:
“I feel like we’re more talented (than Alabama). We have better players at each position, across the board, especially on defense. It’s going to be a great challenge for us. I know it’s going to be a battle. It’s going to come down to who has the best defense and who makes more turnovers. It’s going to be a battle of the defenses.”

What he should of said was that we are excited to be in SEC Championship Game with a chance of playing in the National Championship. It will be a big challenge against a very good Ala. team. But we are pretty good too and playing well right now. It will be two good teams playing and that is the way it should be. You don’t say you are better even if you believe it. But that is our society now, speak before they think.

Jerry Jones has been seen twice in the Athens area since August courting Mark from within his 2012 Cowboy Blue Maybach 62 S. Apparently one of the worst New Jersey General’s was spotted once within earshot as well. Coach Richt will be enjoying Hard Eight BBQ by this time next year as the new Coach of America’s Team. You heard it hear first on the AJC sorta. SW airlines flies direct 737’s from Love Field to Tallahassee twice per week too.

I have read his comment over and over again and I don’t see anything derogatory with it. He is just saying we are as good or better than the all mighty ullaBama. If Murray is on his A game and doesn’t choke in the big game and Bobo calls a good one like he has been doing then we win – defense has and will do their job. Bama is too conservative. Saban will be hell bent on winning after getting whupped by Freshman Johnny Football but hopefully we play for 60 minutes and get er done. UGA is playing the best I have ever seen and I was a Freshman there in 75 so I have seen it all.

I love having the Bama fans here to talk smack. They earned it.
But…
Can anyone believe that any ACC fan would have the stones to come on any SEC blog and say anything about anything. They should be ashamed. Is it true that all the ACC schools are considering dropping football, or are they just moving out of the FBS.
Have I mentioned today that I have degrees from two schools that beat the Trade School – UGA and MTSU – I also went to high school where the team might have beat Tech.
I can’t wait for the game Saturday.

I was wondering if you listened to the broadcast Saturday and the class act the coaching staff portrayed.. As GT was obviously the lesser team..I could only wish that UGA player get injured when UGA continued to pass and attempt to rollup the score when the game was WELL in hand… I could only hope that the starters got injured… Why play the starters when the game is out of control other than to show your ARROGANCE and EGOTISM… What a bunch of THUGS

Speaking of thugs. Did anyone hear during the game when they showed Mike Thornton lying on the ground and the Georgia coaches in the booth next door dropping the F bomb? I saw the reason why when someone posted the you tube video of what happened on another site. At the snap when Thornton turned to his left Tech’s LG went after his knees from behind with a cheap shot. Tech’s players are nothing but cheap shot artist and they deserve to lose games.

The draft experts agree with Rambo regarding the Dawgs’ D unit, but talking that way publicly accomplishes nothing good. Bama will be ranked ahead of UGA and rightfully so. We have to earn respect on the field. GATA, TCB and it’s all good.

Anyone who wishes an opposing team’s players would be injured needs to get his head checked out. UGA vs GT has been a great rivalry for years but it’s a game played on the field. May I say that it’s a game and no more than that. To wish someone get hurt has stepped over the line and truly in need of counseling. I am a UGA fan and I would not wish for a GT player to be injured when our teams play each other. Obnoxious and tasteless fans on both sides need to get their heads in order.

Rambo is Right! I’ve said it all year long. Georgia is more talented than Bama. Earlier they certainly were not playing as well as Bama but they are now. Top to bottom and pound for pound, Georgia is better. Will it equate to a win? We’ll see, that’s why we play the games. This isn’t 08 and these are not paper Dawgs. Georgia has not played a team with the overall talent equal to Alabama’s team talent. And superior talented teams should win most of the time. And when an Alabama player is injured, his replacement isn’t much of a drop off in talent and skill. That is part of the concept team talent. The game will be very interesting. When Alabama is clicking on all systems, offense, defense and special teams, there are very few teams which can match Alabama with talent and skill.
