Chick-fil-A Bowl nears 16th sellout in a row

Fewer than 1,000 tickets remain for sale for the 45th Chick-fil-A Bowl on New Year’s Eve. It likely will become the 16th consecutive sellout for the bowl before the teams representing the ACC and SEC are selected on Dec. 2.

Early predictions have Clemson meeting Texas A&M but it won’t be known for certain till after conference championship games are played on Dec. 1 and the BCS bowl selections are made.

im not sure if clemson will make the bcs they might be the 1st team out (if you will) and if its not clemson then the Acc alternative is likely Duke or Miami. as for A&M i thought the chickfila folks preferred east teams

Georgia could end up in the chick fil a bowl if both florida and south carolina win out and Alabama thumps us in the SECCG.

Fact is, alot could change after thanksgiving weekend games.

Rex that statement is absolutely false. The SEC would like for the losing team in the SECCG to drop no lower than the Outback/Cotton Bowl but there is no written rule about this. Bowls are free to pick who they want. I dont think UGA will fall to the Peach Bowl even if they get blown out but you are wrong my friend.

It doesn’t matter if A&M is in the West. Any bowl would take Johnny football for a bowl. He would be a nightmare for Clemson. Two blowout bowl losses in a row.

I hope Clemson ends up in the Chick-Fil-A and gets waxed by an SEC team. They Have Played ONE decent team all year in FSU and lost. If they end up in a BCS by beating teams like the mighty Duke and the rest of tobacco road then the BCS selections are even a bigger joke than they already are.

Its not only who you play but who you beat if you play lsu uga and fla but only beat an overrated yga guess that’s one good win The sec is the best conference but is down this this year 4 of the 12 stink vandy Kentucky Arkansas auburn tennessee are horrible 5 out of 12 awful or worse bama and lsu are legit miss state is average they started playing great teams and the losses piled up uga and USC are overrated extra points for playing in the sec I mean uga no lsu no bama two years in a row should win the east

A monument or or at least special mention of Pepper Rogers wife for selling enough tickets to save the Peach Bowl. The bowl had to sell a certain amount of tickets to remain in existence and Mrs Roger and some ladies sold the required extra tickets to meet save the Peach Bowl. Thanks ladies.

Bro Dave. Ala and Lsu not playing UGA this year probably saved them a loss on their record. Ala may still get that loss.

Texas A&M will do what the mountaineers did to Clempson last year…what was that score 70-0. Dumbo sweney doesn’t have a clue.
